We've had coverage here in South Africa on the War as well and I think everywhere else besides America is seeing the real casualties of War.CNN & BBC show American tanks in a Dessert whole day and Iraqi Soldiers surrendering in the thousands, but not the innocent people who've just being killed by cluster bombs,or the close to 5000 civilians who are injured and dismembered by mistaken places being bombed.

We've actually sent our own reporters into Iraq to give us a true reflection of everything that this War is about, and whether we like it or not is for us to decide but at least we seeing both sides of this War. CNN Reporters are travelling with the U.S soldiers so how do you think they'll broadcast the news?

CNN and fox news are Bush's voices. Everyone outside US knows that...It's called Propaganda. I just don't know if the BBC is more professional than American medias, but I am afraid that the BBC, despite it's reputation, won't be neutral too.

The American media is totally biast, and thier reporters are told exactly what they can and cannot say on a situation. This was highlighted by the sacking of an NBC correspondent for negative remarks about the progress of the US. That said, many of the other networks aren't much better. With just little investigation of your own though, using a variety of sources, you can get a feel for both sides of the situation.

Been surprised by the Australian, which is very pro bush...Same for Australian TV. Only SBS seems to be neutral. European Medias are not neutral too. Even in Switzerland..

Well most of what's being shown on Australian TV is just stuff being fed straight from the major US networks, hopping between them every 20 minutes or so. I agree that SBS is pretty good though. I refer to to that quite often.

Some media are biased, some other are not, but they can only acknowledge that tey get their info from governments, or "embeded" reporters. This is the only way to get the info.

There is still reporters at Baghdad that are not "embeded", but they are not allowed to show everything...

Amazing, Iraq themselves say only 700 civilians have been killed, and that number is suspect due to the fact that Iraq's officials lie continuously ("VICTORY IS OURS! IT IS WITHIN OUR HANDS! KEEP FIGHTING WE ARE WINNING!" this from the Iraqi administration when they are getting creamed). Of course many others injured, but think about it. So far the US has taken hold of over 80% of the country with only a max of 700 civilian deaths. Compare that with any other war in the last 50 years (besides afghanistan) and it shows a marked improvement in lessening civilian casualties during a war. Lets hope it stays that way and the Bagdad battle is fairly straight forward.

okay, I have to say that this is incorrect. I have seen bodies blown up on my local news IN THE STATES. Women injured and children, so I guess that rules out my American media being "Crap."
