| Posted by: schmiggens | | I am 23, but am greatly inffluenced in my musical taste by what my Mum and my Nan listened too. eg: Mum: Elton John, Cliff Richard, etc. Nan: Simon and Garfunkel, anything Country. So I know a lot of old songs and old bands and singers and things like that.
A lot of old singers and bands everyone knows, like Rollling Stone, Elton John, Bealtes, etc. I thought Rod Stewart was part of that list, but at a party on the weekend I was talking a 18 year old girl and she did not know who Cliff Richard was and I thought that was OK, a lot of people don't know who he is, but she didn't know who Rod Stewart was at all, and it took her ten minutes to work out who Elton John was.
It makes me feel so old.
So I was wondering what Oldies do you love and maybe what do you remember that you think no one else does? | | Reply To this Message
