I heard him sing "can you feel the love tonight" on ET. OH man, it was just sad. It really shows off his accent and I worry that people will be making fun of him.

I agree...I think it's all going too far and it will die down really soon. Doing this kind of thing for a short while for laughs is fine, but when it gets prolonged, it's just way too much. I find it strange that William got offered a record deal for his voice, while tons of people with real talented voices gets turned down all the time. Just look at American Idol. There were 117 people who made it to Hollywood, but only 12 people could have a chance at being noticed which only one person could win. You know US has more talented singers than just 12 people, so look at how many people that would have to be turned down.

Well... there's GOOD singers who have short careers... when there's a bad singer who is in the spotlight becasue of one bad audition and media hype, i can't see that lasting long

I agree with you guys ... Hung followers will hang him out to dry ! The guy is NOT a singer ... entertaining ? Yes ... Singer ? Resoundingly NO

I may be wrong but I think his debut CD will sell extremely well. But I think many fans will realize it was a waste of money and that will be the beginning of the end. Even those who happen to like the CD, I don't think, will spend money on his follow-up release (if there is one, that is). Who would enjoy the same joke told over and over? Of course all bets are off if he decides to record a rap album.

I'm not spending my money... while he's a really sweet, and cute guy... he can't sing.
I'm not going to waste money that can be used to pay a bill for a cd that I wouldn't listen to.

yah..the only way his cd would sell..is if people buy it for laughs..pitty..or to make fun of it..or to show someone else..as a joke gift ..but I hope it dies down really soon
