Camille - she was HORRIBLE! She shouldn't have sat down on a stool... that caused her voice to be worse. Singing while sitting changes your vocals.

Does anyone know who sang what song and how did you rate each performance?

Yeah... she needs to pack her suitcase, in my opinion. If she doesn't go tomorrow night, I will be surprised.

And if Amy is ANYWHERE near the bottom, I will pass out.

Yikes... was Camille the standout worst performer of the night? Didnt anyone else come close to being bad as well?

well... camille was bad TODAY...but i noe she can do better than dat...maybe it was because the genre...COUNTRY sucks!!!

Camile should not have even made it this far. None of her performances have been idol-worthy, I don't know what the judges were thinking when they made their earlier comments. I just bet she'll go tonight, but if for some crazy reason she makes it thru, who will it be? Any thoughts?

Camille did not sound so good last night. I think she may be gone. Also John Stevens forgeting the words may put him in the bottom 3, lastly Fantasia may be there this week as well.

My vote Camille will be gone.

If Camille stays it will be because all of Hawaii voted for her. She was terrible and needs to go home.

I am not a John Stevens fan, but people seem to like him and they may not mind he forgot the words and vote for him anyway, I find him difficult to look at when he sings, but then again there's Clay Aikens who've they made-over to look not so bad when he performs. I like him too.

It's possible that John will be Camille's saving grace. Forgetting the words at this stage of the game is unforgivable.

It is possible. John sounded good though. He also has a very devoted following. I guess we will see whos group is more devoted.

I am one of John's devoted followers. We did not care that he forgot the words he still sounded amazing. I too think Camielle will be out and Jasmin will probably be in the bottom 3, she was really pitchy last night.

I am a John Stevens fan also. It did not matter to me that he forgot the lyrics.

I just typed out a long review of each performance in my sub-standard clipboard and lost it all ! I don't have the time to re-type it all so here's a down and dirty:

In performance Order:

Diana Our Pop-Farm Princess songbird had a broken Wing last night. The long held money note was just swell but didn't cover the very shaky start and non-connection to the audience. As a singer she is off-the-rack and not designer.

George He does connect and that's all that carried him.
His signature rasp is sexy only in moderation. He was off pitch and much too gravelly last night and I can't love him like that.

Fantasia Mush less much mouth ... I mean much less mush mouth. I actually understood the words as she delivered an acceptably safe but unexciting version of one of my favorites. All the back and forth with her and Simon will not keep her on my mind for long let alone always. Stood out tonight only because rather than her usual uptempo and over-done this was under-done !

John S IV That's my boy. He did a great job with a surprisingly good song choice. His exceptional in character and unflappable cover when the words escaped, is the mark of someone on the right road to be King thereof.

Camile Much better than I expected, and love the song, but I'm not sure if her slightly out-of-tune delivery will save her. Randy called it jerky but to me it sounded like uncontrolled vibrato in this Desperado.

Jennifer It was a good performance ... really quite good enough but she stretched herself a little too much. Noone else on earth but Simon could have so cleanly cut her with the harshest of un-deserved comments. I am worried.

JPL Probably worst of show. Very bad start, pitch problems and he sounded like a totally different guy last night. The word is he worried back stage that he had chosen the wrong song. Something was definitely wrong but his harem of she's will believe in him anyway and he'll stay.

Jasmine Our flower has lost a few petals in this unsure, uneven and off pitch/key delivery -- in an animated red lampshade that left little room to Breathe.

Matt Worse than usual and a surprise song choice. I shouldn't be ... but I am amazed at his poor and off key delivery squeezed into a sappy performance.

Latoya Something was just off for me as I listened ... was it her timing ? I found this performance annoying and she too had no connection to the audience ! And Gee ... the sun ... er the lights come up on Josh Gracin as we segue into LaToya's busy and again off the (crooked) rack delivery !Hmmmm. How convenient.

Amy Wait ... make that AMY ! There's our Amy ! She rocked last night and I suspect she got more people jumping on her fan wagon last night ! Wanna' see connecting with the audience ? Rewind AMY ! Definitely Best of Show. Mustang ! Heads and shoulders above all of the designated thoroughbreds in Simon's stable ! ( Oooops :lol You go girl !

....................

* Most improved:

John S IV

* Biggest surprises:

Amy

John S IV

* Biggest surprises

Diana
Jasmine
LaToya
JPL

++++++++++++

I'll rank my favorites cumulatively tomorrow.

The following is

***Ranked by Best to Worst

on TUESDAY 3/23 ONLY

Amy
John S IV
Jennifer
George
Fantasia
Diana
Jasmine
LaToya
Camile
Matt
JPL
.................

At this stage of the competition

Who in my opinion should be bottom 3 ?

Camile, Matt and Fantasia with (surprise) MATT going home.

Who do I think will be bottom 3 ?

Camile, Jennifer and either John S or Matt ...

The boot is a coin toss between the 2 women.

Later.

I'm hoping that Camille will be having a larger fan base than either Matt or Jennifer. I personally dont like Matt to much so i hope he goes - not the greatest of voices and there are better personalities in the 11 than him. I actually like Jennifer alot. i think she has a great fun loving personality and is one of the more consistent performers who can really belt out songs well but i was shocked to see her in last weeks bottom 3 even though she had a good performance... so who knows.... fingers crossed for Camille.

I think John S will have too many of the older viewers on his side to go at such an early stage.

JPL's performance on Tuesday was disappointing in my opinion.

He didn't seem nearly as comfortable as on previous shows and his voice actually sounded completely different to me. He sounded much higher pitched and with no tonal quality at all. Something was definitely different.

I heard on Seacrest's OnAir show that before JPL went on Tuesday night he was pacing back stage because he was worried that he made the wrong song choice. I think he probably did.

Maybe fuscia, one of our mods here can explain it better, but
something odd happened. He started really low and swallowed the very beginning of the song and then maybe jumped an octave and got a little lost within ?

I think JPL is a goofball who takes his performances very seriously.

"I think JPL is a goofball who takes his performances very seriously. "

I agree.... mind you i think JPL's trying too much to be a goofball and its starting to become more staged. I think George is also a funny character but ..that actually does seem to be his natural personality ... or at least its coming across that way. George seems to be more genuine than JPL... and he's also a better performer from what i've seen so far.

uh hellooooo....you guys are bananas...NO...make that grapefruits, if you think that Fantasia sucks. She is going to win the whole thing. Simon says, "Fantasia, you are the truth," "The competition would be boring without you," and a whole host of other good things have come from his mouth, randy's and paula's mouth, about her singing. She is a professional. She gets up there and does this thing with ease, and thats what it is about. So does George, and Jasmine, and LaToya. You guys really dont know much about music or singing if you think otherwise. I'm just being honest. I am a singer, and writer, and my husband is a producer and writer, professionally. So this is what the industry is looking for is people like: fantasia, george, latoya, jasmine. J stevens is a cute lil campbell soup-looking kid, and I actually LOVE his tone, but he is aburrido (boring,) and he has no life in his performance. Maybe Fantasia should pinch him and wake him up and let him know he is on AMERICAN IDOL, not the glee club anymore, and he is supposed to be trying to actually WIN. oh well I know for a fact Lil Conan O'brien Jr. will not be winning. He will be saying goodbye to California within the next couple weeks, or wherever they are doing that show at. LOL

That may be what the industry is looking for but the industry isn't voting.

Jasmine had the gaul to sing "Breathe" by Faith Hill...My former gi...fr..nds and my theme song. Get rid of her, please. Keep John Stevens ..the eventual winner.

What's that got to do with how good she is? She's a great singer.

I think that Jasmine is a very talented young girl.... she does need some training though.

Jasmine definitely didnt perform that great - i would have thought that she could have sung that song a great deal better but for some reason she didnt.

i think that the top 4 will be contested between Latoya, George, Fantasi and Jasmine - i think she had a bad week which was a surprise but it'll be interesting to see if she ups her game in the next show.

jasmine is a great singer. She will be here for a while too. Now amy is not a great singer and i will be glad to see her and her pink hair go. And John stevens is definitely not going to win. WHo should be voted off? Camille or Amy or either john. Doesnt matter which john because i know sooner or later both will be voted off
