Book 5: HP & the Order of the Phoenix Forum

What was he doing during book 5? He was mysteriously left out.
Does Voldemort have him on a secret mission? Working as a spy?
Has he been killed off?
Will he do something to pay back his life-debt to Harry in book 6 or 7?

I think Wormtail was spying in book 5. Voldemort did not need him to care for him anymore. I think he was running around as a rat trying to see what the Order was up to, or he was used in Hogsmead on the Holiday weekends to spy on Harry.

Yes, good point. I don't believe that he's dead. He hasn't fulfilled his usefulness to Voldemort.
He's spying somewhere... or, he's preparing something that Voldemort wants ready for a final battle.

Wormtail was not the best wizard. I think that he will not do a good job. Plus, there is that debt that he owes Harry for saving his life.

Maybe since he owes Harry one,then,maybe Wormtail will be the one to die trying to save Harry.............................................................I think this could be rubbish to all of you,Sorry.

Maybe he was present throughout OoTP......... we just didn't know it was him

Your idea could be right Sirius, but I think Wormtail is too much of a wimp to die for anyone. He may help Harry at sometime - but he wouldn't care too much, I think.
