| MONICA QUESTIONS BRITNEY'S SINGING SKILLS
Britney Spears has been slighted by R&B beauty Monica, who has declared she doesn't see the pop beauty "as a singer."
The Grammy-winning singer, 23, admits that while she appreciates Spears' ability to mesmerize fans with her performing talents, she doesn't have much of an appreciation for her vocal abilities.
She tells Stuff magazine, "I look at Britney as an entertainer. I don't look at her as a singer, and I don't think she looks at herself as a singer.
"She will captivate an audience. She will give you a good show. If you want to see a singer, you probably should go see Christina Aguilera. She has an incredible voice."
And -- to make matters worse for Spears -- Monica also has a few good words to say about the singer's ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.
She adds, "He has an incredible voice, and the fact that he'll always work with great producers will keep him a step ahead." | |
