Ok...imagine you are in Middle Earth. Where are you? Where have you come from? What is your name? What race are you?

btw...this does not have to tie in with dates to do with LOTR!

Good thing too, I am useless with dates of Middle-Earth. Anyway here's one I made earlier:

Name: Thinthalion

History: strange natured half Avari/ half Noldor. One of the last of the two Elven inhabitants of Fangorn Forest. He has lived since the last days of Doriath, realm of Thingol. Brother of Adrahil the fair, whom was tortured (by having his eyes plucked out, ears cut off and his throat bruised so badly he couldn’t talk) and died of sorrow. He and his brother were in the service of Turgon and Gondolin before Adrahil was tortured and before leaving Beleriand and entering the forests beyond Ered Luin. He didn’t play a large part in the downfall of either Sauron or Morgoth.

Appearance: He wares a long grey-hooded-cloak which is held in place by a clasp that was given to him by Turgon. He wares chain-mail under a shirt and his breeches (which are dark green), black boots and a black belt. His face is that of and average elf, save for the signs of torment and sorrow that he had been through over his long live. His eyes are Black in colour (like the Avari) but his face is fair as a normal Noldor elf. He is 5 foot 10 and approximately 190 pounds. His hair is black.

Personality: Short tempered and strong minded. He is stubborn as a Dwarf, fleet footed as an elf and as untrusting as some men. He has pride but is not blinded by it. He shows little emotion but does have some. He takes on to much responsibility than is needed and often is stretched to complete the task set, but will do the task normally.

Weapons: He carries a bow of Lorien and uses the Black arrows of the king under the mountain. He uses a sword obtained from the King of the Barrow-wights called Angarist, the Iron cleaver, once used by Gil-Gallad before he got his spear.

Ok first my other character:

Name: Curudin Belegar

History: Strange natured elf of Noldor. One of the last of the two Elven inhabitants of Fangorn Forest. He is an elf of Valinor and left for Middle-earth after Finrod Felagund died.He was in the last alliance of elves and men when Gil-Gallad fell. He was born during the reign of Fingolfin. He didn’t play a large part in the fall of Sauron or Morgoth

Appearance: he wares a green cloak, a small ring of mithril around his head, a golden ring he wares on his finger, dark green shirt and breeches, black boots and a black belt. He looks like an average elf of Noldor. His eyes are deep green wells of thought. His hair is black. He is about 5 foot 8 and weighs 150 pounds.

Personality: not as short tempered as Thinthalion but is short tempered. He is strong minded and stubborn. Can be light-hearted at times but never sings. He show little emotion but more than Thinthalion. Takes on tasks that he can complete and won’t be stretched to do so.

Weapons: He carries a Lorien bow with the black arrows of the King under the mountain. He carries a sword that was in the vaults of Nargothrond, but was never used, called Aglarist, the glory cleaver.

So do you mean who would I be if I was an already created character of middle earth?

My name was Saurtholiel and I was an elf who lived in Doraith. I am a short elven maiden with long curly chestnut hair and hazel eyes. I am the elf who sings all the time in the forrest. I wander under the moonlight.

I bet you can guess what i am!

I am a Valaraukar (Balrog) named Gaurthak. I was the one who tripped Fingon, allowing Gothmog to kill him. I escaped the destruction of Angband and the ruin of that followed and fled over the Misty Mountains, taking abode in the Grey Mountains north of Mirkwood.

Shadow, shame on you you evil Balrog. Poor fingon.

Muahaha well i say fingon had it coming...if he was stupid enough to leave valinor...

Well, you can be happy about killing elves, since you are a balrog, but I must tell you that we threw a party for Gandalf when he came home with Elrond and Galadriel. It was a "death to squishy" party.

I got it now, I was just having trouble undrestanding what exactly you want me to do. Anyway you may have to wait a while for it because I have to think up a name that would go with it but I have always been usless with names.

White Tiger, there is a thread on the second page called Who are you in middle earth. There is a link to a middle earth name generator. I just put in Sherry and used one of the possible elf names.

OK here you go:

I would be Drór Skynose a dwarf of the Grey Mountains. I was killed in the invasion of the Ered Mithrin (the Grey Mountains) by dragons; I fell before Scatha the long worm and beside Frór and his father Dain I. Before that I had dwelt in Erebor before Smaug came and I and my folk were driven out to wander the lands before I came to Ered Mithrin. I had seen the Arkenstone and worked on it when it was first found.

Cool history. Now we have a balrog, an elf, and a dwarf. Where are the hobbits?

I was thinking of doing a Hobbit but I prefer Dwarves.

I have a question would Gaurthak of killed some of my people in Ered Mithrin when the dragons came or before hand or when the orcs dwelt there...before being destoyed and some of my people returned to our homes in that mountain range.

We have a hobbit! You can always count on me as one of the little folk! (and seeing as I couldnt BE Pippin, then i'll settle for a decendant!)

I am a Hobbit called Poppy Took, daughter of Goldilocks and Faramir Took. At age 33 i inherited the Thainship, as there were no other Tooks to accept the position, thus becoming the first female Thain in the whole of Shire history! I enjoy singing, dancing, drinking and of course eating!

Appearance: taller than most, at 4ft with long curly dark hair and green eyes. Sometimes seen wearing mens attire when out for walks.

You certainly have a love of the hobbits.

I am sorry guys, but I am not very imaginative right now. Can I call myself Tar-Minyatur? If you know who he is, I don't need to explain my history. If you don't, I will post it if you want.

How can you not want to be an elf? When I was 7 years old I first read the trilogy. I have no mind for names or dates or specifics, but something deep inside me.....woke up then. I lived in the woods, wishing I were lighter of complection and had pointy ears. I tried to talk to trees and thought I might live forever. The elves were everything I was not, and I loved them for it. They are Tolkien's angels. That said, if I were a charecter in middle earth, I would be me, wishing I were an elf
