I thought I would put up a poem of mine and see what you thought of it. I do Lord of the Rings poems in case your wondering, so here goes:

The Riddler

In Mountains roots and in dark halls,
The riddler sits beside the falls,
A boat upon a forgotten lake,
An island of the riddler's make,

In shadowed waters he sits alone,
In darkened hall of mighty stone,
A hand drifts on the waters calm,
A fish he catches in his palm,

As dark as darkness, save two bright eyes,
Long ago left the clear blue skies,
He lives now on that darkened lake,
But never a ripple does he make,

Goblin he eats whenever he can,
Or dwarf or elf or even man,
He sits alone in this dark hall,
Waiting for his prey to call,

The riddler sits upon a lake,
A ring he holds of evil make,
All who enter his darkened home,
Shall leave as nothing except bone.

It is about Gollum in the Hobbit.

Thanks, anyway here is another one:

Ere the lands of wood and dale,
Up the mountains dusty trail,
Into the dark where light is gone,
Where never the golden Sun has shone.
Goblins hide behind the walls,
‘Till the dark of night does fall,
Many a traveller gone astray,
Shall never again see light of day.
Many a year it stood alone,
Once home to dwarves, those halls of stone,
Much fame it brought in Durin’s reign,
Until the rise of Durin’s Bane.

it is about Moria if you know what that is

did you see the third lord of the rings movie yet?
I didn't because no one took me... and it seems like most everyone in the world besides me saw it

here is a disclaimer poem I though up a while ago. I use it for my Lord of the rings fanfictions on Fanfiction.net.

I do not own Lord of the Rings,
I do not own that many things,
I do not own an elf or tree,
These things that were not meant for me,
I do not own them now, I did not own them then,
Not now, not then not ever again,
I do not own the words I say,
I do not own that much this day,
I do not own my house,
I do not own a mouse,
I do not own Lord of the Rings,
I do not own the rights to anything.

Wow! Have you ever read anything by Pippin-the-great? That's Rach. I'm Mortal Elf, but I've only written one LOTR fanfic.

I haven't actually I probably will though. Just give me a while to get a few thing sorted here. I have things to do places to go, people to annoy.

I haven't posted a poem for a while so I thought I put one up:

Gondolin, fair Gondolin, where lords and ladies dwell,
Where hast thou gone oh Gondolin?! None of us can tell,
To shadows and darkness fell the city of the King,
Gondolin, fair Gondolin fell to the Balrogs wing,

Gondolin, fair Gondolin, between the mountains high,
Gondolin, oh Gondolin, went as fire in the sky,
Gondolin, fair Gondolin, beauty unsurpassed,
Gondolin, oh Gondolin, beauty gone at last,

Where doest thou dwell oh Gondolin, your shinning towers past,
Where hast thou gone oh Gondolin, your sparkling fountains lost,
Gondolin, fair Gondolin, the last fair realm of old,
Gondolin, oh Gondolin, of whom the stories told,

Forever lost oh Gondolin, the city of the king,
Forever gone oh Gondolin fell to the Balrogs wing,
Gondolin, fair Gondolin, beauty unsurpassed,
Gondolin, Oh Gondolin, beauty gone at last.

My favorite of my poems is

Lost is mind and heart is broken,
Harshest word that ever spoken,
Dark as night and starless sky,
Edrahil lay down to die,

Where hast thou gone oh kings of old? Your mighty towers free,
Where hast thou gone my brother fair? My brother calls to me,
Edrahil, oh Edrahil, across the mighty sea,
Edrahil, oh Edrahil, what has become of thee?

The mountains now hold the fair, Adrahil the free,
Edrahil is lost to time, but all is lost to he,
The cloak is gone, the mantle frayed, the grey clouds blown away,
The light returns, awaken now, the one who sleeps till day,

this s my latest work, I welcome any comments on it.

The stars were high and winds did blow,
Under light of moon,
Did reveal what should be shown,
By the stars of June,
The west winds blew, the Mountains wept,
The rivers lost there shine,
And all the while the world still slept,
Unaware of passing time,
The ground did quake and sky grew black,
As darkness ate the dawn,
Foulest creatures then came back,
And evil was reborn,
No stars then shone up in the sky,
And moon was hid away,
Instead of birds the dragons fly,
To wait for coming day,
Ancient creatures of evils make,
Walked the world once more,
Fouler creature did awake,
From mountains to the shore,
And hope was lost upon the sands,
Where last the light had gone,
And darkness reigned across the lands,
But still the world slept on.

This is my latest addition to my poems list. I adds to my Lord of the Rings/Hobbit/Silmarillion list.

Beneath the trees,
And westward breeze,
Where dwell the star-light born,
Where running streams,
And fondest dreams,
Await no dusk nor dawn.
Far beautiful the lady there,
Who catches star-light in her hair,
And dances to the forest sound,
And sings to those who stand aground.
Do you hear the forest sing?
And the river bells that ring?
Beneath the stars she dances still,
As she sings before the king,
About a long forgotten thing,
And beauty then surpasses will.
And still she whispers into breeze,
That thread between the swaying trees,
And many to that voice have fell,
To Luthien Tinuviel.
