Would you rather live in Rivendel or Lothlorien and why?

I would have my own kingdom. Honestly, Rivendell is much more cool I think. And I would be Elrond.

I like Rivendel also. I love the design, the peacefulness. I also love the river being there. I would not want to be up in a tree in Lothlorien.

i'd like to live in Rivendell. but living in Thranduil's kingdom in Mirkwood wouldn't be too bad....

Rivendell seems like a better place to live. It's more welcoming and friendly. The elves in Rivendell are more light hearted!

Rivendell is nice but i think i prefer Lothlorien! I dont know why, but it appeals more to me!

Personally, I wouldn't mind living in Lothlorien as long as I am Celeborn.

Lothlorien has a more majestic beauty to it, so in a way it is more serene and pensive. However, Rivendell is also very beautiful; a more open place, not so enclosed. So for that reason I would live in Rivendell. As long as Legolas was living there as well.

I think Lothlorien would be a wonderful place to visit in the springtime, with the yellow blossoms on the trees and the old leaves covering the floor in gold. Rivendel would be the best place to live. Talk about a good nights rest listening to the river each night.

I would have to say Lothlorien, for the reasons Neo mentioned, but other than that I dont know what it is, I'm just more drawn to it

If I had my choice I would live in Eldamar in Valinor or Gondolin in Beleriand but because the only Elf realms in Middle-Earth are Imaldris (Rivendell), Lothlorien and Mirkwood I would pick Lothlorien.

Why? Lothlorien is a beautiful place and the wonders of the old world still dwell there and it has more history than Imaldris.

I only picked Lothlorien because of the tragedy surrounding it's past. If not for that then I would have chosen Imaldris.

Why does no one aactually like the place itself??

I like Lothlorien I just prefer the history to the places, which is why I like living in Portsmouth.

Then you should be thanking my team, we beat Man Utd. We also out played Chelsea at Fratton Park, Drew with Arsenal at Highbury (which we should have won if not for Pires dive), Beat Liverpool twice and Drew with Newcastle when we out played them.

Ok after this back to the topic,

Chelsea have bought many people this season and have basically bought their way to sucess, which is fine if it works and I'm not arguing because Pompey got Alexey Smertin out of the deal . Anyway Pompey had more injuries than any team in Premiership history from October to January, at one point our sub goalkeeper was our coach.

Anyway Pompey have gotten 13 points from a possible 15 and chelsea haven't, so there.

You guys are going to get into trouble for this one.
