| Posted by: schmiggens | | Well I wondered if they would do it and I heard yesterday on the radio that one Cinema here is doing the trilogy in a movie marathon, starting at 12.00 noon on Saturday, they will run all three LOTR movies back to back.
At three+ hours each, you would be there until like 10.00pm that night. I don't know if I could sit through it all. Could you? | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | Oh man! All those glorious hours with the Lord of the Rings and no kids. AH there is a heaven on Earth. I have to agree with Shadow, include potty breaks and I would so go there. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: schmiggens | | I justheard they give you half an hour between films, so add an hour and a half to the actual playing time of the movies and you would be at the Cinema for over 12 hours. Too long for me. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: schmiggens | | Not only is it that long, but I got the starting time wrong, it starts at 1.30 pm, so you would leave the Cinema at about 1.30 am the next morning.
You have got to be a REAL fan to sit that long. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | I am a real fan. I would love it! I am one of those people who can watch all 3 Godfathers in a row-yes even the one with Sophia Copola and that is the sign of a true fan. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: schmiggens | | I have never seen any of the Godfather movies.
The price for the movie marathon is AUS$25.00 for all three movies, which is not bad considering we usually pay $12.00 - $16.00 for one movie.
I think if they weren't all over three hours long and if the last movie hadn't been so crap, I would go and watch. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: doyoulikepie75 | | MAAN that'd be hell for me. I was half annoyed I'd spent so much time watching the trilogy once... watching it all over again, in one huge dose would probably kill me, and leave a very bored corpse.
Although I do appreciate some of LOTR in very small doses... try half an hour at a time. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | Mine are too small. Damon gets scared, and Nikki is too little to have any interest. Still, I do watch TT or FOTR when I have a night that I can't sleep. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Lexian | | Ah, not enough hours in my day either. I don't think I could stand being in a theater that long. | | Reply To this Message
