Strange how strategies and re-positionning are shedding light on the Iraq "imminent threat" unease.

JY Cheney is probably the one running this country. Bush doesn't even realize that he's doing their bidding.

Cheney's Long Path To War

The whole story looks like somehow surrealistic. I mean - stepping back a few seconds - we are dealing with how the mightiest and first democracy in the world is ruled by the Bush administration. Now that the Iraqi WMDs are clearly established as a bogus claim you see gradual shifts from some high ranked officials - they are supposed to have "corrected" their governants - followed by denials from those governants and other "corrections".
With all the on-going "corrections" we are all given a lesson of politics - of the real sense of each word in a phrase ...

I remember early on when Bush first took office, one of his cabinet members called it a "Keystone Cop Operation". He should be on the psychic network making money.

I also remember when many of his cabinet members started defecting and Bush issued a threat to the remaining ones on his staff telling the if you're gonna go, do it now.

This is the person making important decisions for this nation. Man we're in trouble.
