Colin powel February 2001 and how well UN sanctions are going -
He has not developed any significant capability with respect to weapons of mass destruction. He is unable to project conventional power against his neighbors.
|
How did Powel have the gal to suggest that Saddam was so weak he couldn't even threaten his neighbours with conventional weapons - lying b$%&*!!!
| quote: |
Condalisa Rice July 2001 and how well UN sanctions are going -
We are able to keep arms from him. His military forces have not been rebuilt. |
He has no military forces! What? He didn't rebuild his military after Gulf war I? Surely this could not have been true!? She must have been lying here a$s off!

Bush March 2003 -
Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised. |
Yeeehaaaaw!
| quote: |
Fleischer telling us what the war is actually about in April 2003 -
But make no mistake--as I said earlier--we have high confidence that they have weapons of mass destruction. That is what this war was about and it is about. |
What was that you said the war was and is about, Mr Fleischer? | | Reply To this Message

Some will reply that you sound like a broken record, or that it is done now, or that Iraq is changing now for the best, or that time is required to search more thoroughly the country.
A minority will be more straight as to tell you that they don't care whether they are WMDs or not. The world is better without Saddam; they don't care about what you think you US-hater pathogen. Might is right man. Put that in your little brain and stop bothering over. This is a new era, and who cares about - how do they say ? - "international legality".
Anything else ?
Curley, see you don't have to post any quote here. I have answered for you. | | Reply To this Message

It still find it shocking that it doesn't worry people when politicians get caught lying so blantantly on such serious matters and yet continue to believe that these very same politicians are now telling the truth. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: oneofpeace | | Ok here’s how the scenario goes. This is my own skit here fellas. I think it sums things up pretty well.
Bush says
This war is about terrorism. Saddam has tons of WMD and would give them to terrorists
UN: No WMD since 1994.
Bush says
Well, ok well maybe there aren’t any WMD there. But this was based on Humanitarian Reasons instead. We needed to get rid of Saddam for the people of Iraq.

Bush says
Well, Saddam still killed a lot of his people. And since we declared him an “axis of evil” we should have invaded because no body should do such things to their own people.
Human Rights Abuses in N. Korea
Bush says
Ok, well maybe Kim Jong is killing and torturing thousands in N. Korea, the other “Axis of Evil”. However we will deal with them through dialog. As for Saddam and Iraq, we still did it for the people. We’re there for the Iraqi people. However it’s not about anything else, especially oil.
US fails to stop looting, except at the Ministry of Oil
Bush says
Ok, but we did this for the Iraqi people. The US is getting nothing out of this except that we are stopping Saddam from giving, wait rephrase, Saddam could have giving weapons to terrorist. This is about freedom.
Halliburton awarded contract to rebuild Iraq before the war started March 25, 2003
Bush says
Well I know they’re involved with Cheney, but it’s not as it looks. Besides Halliburton is a reputable company. And even though there wasn’t any public bid for the contract, the US taxpayers are in good hand with Halliburton.
Halliburton overcharge Pentagon by 61 million for fuel, 16 million for Army meals
Bush says
Hey, this is an oversight. Halliburton said they’ll pay back the money (yeah the money we catch them stealing). Besides, my friend Dick Cheney was president of that fine company. Therefore, I know they’re an honest company and we’re in good hands.
Halliburton admits to bribing Nigerian officials with $2.4 million for tax breaks May 9, 2003
Bush says
Umm, well doesn’t every wealthy company deserve a tax break? I think they learned their lesson however.
