| Pop beauty Britney is planning to buy herself a new house -- Cher's palatial home in Malibu, Calif.
The 22-year-old singer currently owns a home in her native Kentwood, La., a plush apartment in New York City and a condominium in Santa Monica, Calif., after selling her Beverly Hills abode to Brittany Murphy last year for $4 million.
Sources tells America's Us Weekly that Cher wants to sell her Italian-style home -- valued at $8-$10 million -- without having to go through the trouble of putting the 2.5-acre estate on the market.
Spears recently made two trips to tour Cher's home, which boasts seven bedrooms and unobstructed views of the ocean and mountains.
A source says, "Britney loves the beach, and she loves to be lose to the action in Santa Monica. Cher's place would more than accommodate her." | |
