PETA has developed another absurd ad campaign that tries to poke fun of Clay Aiken but ends up making their own organazation the butt of the joke.While marginally better then comparing the killing of animals to the killing of the Jews in the holocaust,the presentation is confusing(Clay is a eunuch,Huh?)and dilutes their message.The reason for targeting Clay?He told Rolling Stone recently,"I think cats are satan. There's nothing worse to me then a house cat.When i was about 16,I had a kitten and accidently ran over it.Seeing that cat die,I accually think it's spirit has haunted me.I wasn't afraid of cats before.But now they scare me to death.The battle between Clay Aiken and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is getting beastly.And now,the "American Idol" runner-up is threating to sue!PETA went on the warpath against Aiken earlier this month after the singer was quoted in Rolling Stone magazine as saying he hates cats,he accidently ran over one when he was 16,and he now thinks "cats are satan"PETA responed with an ad featuring Triumph th insult comic dog and the tagline:"Get Neutered- It didn't hurt Clay Aiken."The singer has,in the past,hinted broadly at his sexual inexperience.Well I hoped ya'll read this!!It made me so mad that they would say that!!!!!!!Man people like that are just really jelous!!!!!!!!!!!!!He said ACCIDENTLLY ran over his kitten!!!Everybody makes mistakes sometimes and that was Clay Aiken's mistake he did not do it on purpose!!!!!!!!Well I gots to go ya'll if you gots some questions just ask me!!I will be happy to answer them!Peace!
Well, back when it came out it was shocking. now that it's been out in the open, it's gotten to the point where PETA put their foot - or paw- in their mouth. If they thought they could actually run that ad by targeting against another human being, then they deserve to be sued. I care for animals, like everyone else, but that doesn't mean animals should be treated like they are the most precious creatures on the planet. Animals are just as special as humans, and like humans, a few dogs, birds, and cats will be killed along the way. It's life, that's the way the cookie crumbles. I think PETA is getting a little outrageous, now a days.

Oh,ya I heard that but the cheering was soooooooooo loud they could barely hear the boo's that's what makes me happy!!!!!The people that booed are just jelous anyways!
yeah.....but on this ( http://aikenforclay.com/photogaller...?album=38&pos=4 ) its sad. it says he lost confidance and seemed to notice the boos. i still think it was stupid that he even went up for a speech though. if he was trying to blend in and be normal a speech was not required.
ya know clayfan, i really have to agree with you, it was really stupid to get him to do a speech, cause of course people aren't gonna like him and be very jealous, the booing makes me really sad.............i dunno, I just think Clay has a lot of struggles that people don't know about, and that its worse then we all think. I truly pray for him that he gets through whatever pain he experiences
Yeah,The worst part is to me though yeah i know i said there was cheering and there was but they had it on t.v. when they where booing and i could barely hear them but he looked like he was going to cry!!!Poor Thing!!!!!Well gots to go peace
aww i can imagine him being sad and almost crying. he doesnt seem to me like the kind of person who actually just laughs about those types of things to make it all better.
yeah, but it also makes him the wrong type of person to be a celebrity - well not a celebrity, but the kind that gets made fun of and booed. i cant believe he was booed.

well i see WHY he was booed, but its CLAY AIKEN....i dont see him as clay aiken -- the massive celebrity at times like this, i see him as clay aiken - the regular guy who can get his feelings hurt.
yes i know exactly what you mean.....most celebs are born into a life like that and are used to it, but Clay knows what its like to benormal and to be famous
yeah thats neat! i never looked at it that way, but its so true!....and actually it hasn't even been a year scince he was 'officially' a celeb.....really he just started to bloom when the Rollingstone article of him came out
