| I see your points, but whatever happened to leaving people wanting more? 
I know the fans want all they can get and then some, but sometimes it's best to leave the details up to the imagination.
For example, I really didn't need the Star Wars prequels. The franchise would have been fine just having idle speculation from the fans. It's nice to have the backstory, but I kind of liked my own ideas better.
And when JK starts to re-write history or skew pre-determined ideas the hardcore fans already have, what then. Honestly, it might cheese some of you if the roots of the HP series are disagreeable. And the more specific JK gets, the number of people who don't like it will increase. Vagueness often equals happiness because, once again, the details are left to the imagination. That's just my $.02.
