Past secret seemed overplayed

I couldn't help think that Larissa's "big secret" was totally overplayed by the show. Her actual secret is pretty weak. I mean she dated "fabio", so what?! That's not really a secret by any stretch. I thought she did porn, or was divorced with kids or something major. One person on this forum did say that both Larissa and Gil are actors or wannabe actors, so perhaps this was all a plot to make the ending as dramatic as possible?

When Larissa asked Gil what he "wanted from this". He said to be an actor....and then she picked him..........was she deaf????? And the Fabio thing, that was bizarre with Gil's behavior, maybe that was staged to make the ending different. How did they get back together if they were on the Today show saying they were together???

I have no idea what's going on with those two. But Gil still giving bleak answers, when asked how things were going, he said something like "we're going to try to see if we can make it work". I don't think he was really ever interested in Larissa, he just wanted to be on TV. He is just stringing her along, and I think once he finds stardom, he's gonna dump her.
