Rapper Nelly and R&B beauty Ashanti have fuelled reports they're secretly dating, after being spotted enjoying an intimate meal at New York's swanky Trump International Hotel.

In February, pals of the musical twosome revealed Nelly had been romancing Ashanti since November, following several liaisons at glitzy hotels and restaurants in Los Angeles.

And now reports of their relationship have been heightened after the couple were seen canoodling at the Manhattan hotel on Saturday.

A source tells Page Six, "They looked very cozy and happy."

Ashanti admitted it on a magazine saying or was it her reps saying Nelly and her have been seeing eachother for like the last couple months and Ashanti did say ths though to a magazine:"Nelly and I do like to go out w/ eachother, and I really do like him"

That's funny cos Ashanti was recently on the Doug Banks morning show and on Access Hollywood saying that they were just friends. And if was a magazine called J-14, then that is NOT a reliable source because it is a teenybopper magazine like Bop and Tiger Beat and they get things twisted. Plus if they wanted to keep their "relationship" on the DL then she would NOT admit anything to the media...especially a teen magazine. Heck, Jay-z and B still haven't officially said they were a couple yet but ther is actual evidence (like photos and VIDEO FOOTAGE). Teen magazines like these make up stories, add things to the original story and twist things around in order to sell their product. Now if there is a pic of them together coming from the alleged "sightings" and not old ones from an award show (which I have yet to see) then so be it! But all this information is located in the GOSSIP/RUMOR section of magazines meaning NOT FACTUAL AND BASED ON SPECULATION. Don't buy into everything you hear or read (especially teen magazines and the internet). I hear he might have hung out with her in the past, but who knows what went on back then or how serious it actually was. For all we know, the first "sighting" could have been just casual. If Ashanti had any respect for herself then she wouldn't just "meet up" with Nelly at hotels which have been the ONLY reports that they have been "seen". What's in a hotel anyway besides maybe a restaurant and a BEDROOM?! Come on now! I believe in privacy, but I think both of them have a little more CLASS than that! Holla back!
