Will PASSION Win Best Foreign Language Film next year?
just a interesting question since it is in aramaic and hebrew
and street latin??

The Passion didn't get submitted in time, so it will either not be submitted for consideration, or we'll see it in next year's lineup.

That is what I meant. will it be up for Best Foreign Language
Film for 2004 (2005 award ceremony)
I think it is a foreign language film as there is no english in it.
that question would have also gone for Quest For Fire many
years back that also had no english (and not much of any
language but I loved it.)

the reason PASSION can't win foreign language film is because
even though Aramaic is the main language of the film there is no country where Aramaic is official language (even though there is a community I read about somewhere which does speak Aramaic) (It seems that a film must represent a country when in the best foreign film catagory)
