did anyone hear that clay's real father died?? it says it on www.mnclayfans.com and www.clayaikenfan.com

im speechless, cause after all the things Clay has said about that man, hes probably gonna feel really bad ya know, now that hes dead, holy smokes, this is really a shoker!.................

i REALLY don't know if that's true though! i've only heard like 2 things about it....something as big as this you'd think we'd have heard more about it.

i really hope it isnt true..even though they never really talked i know it would still tear his heart up to know that his dad died..

When I was watching the news last night I heard it they said that Vernon Grissom was 68 and he died from breathing problems. I really don't think that Clay will let this get to him just like sleeper said think of all of the things that Clay's father did to him. You just have to remember that everyone has there time and it was Clay's father's time. God Bless.

I pray for Clay and hope he does not let the guilt of not reconciling with his birth father when Vernon was alive. First his half sister, now his real father.

oh yes, i hate to bring it up, but i got alot of mixed messages about Clays half sister, what really happened?...and is it true that she killed herself, and that it was because Clay became famous and she didn't?....those are just some things i heard from ppl who weren't really sure.
Aswell, Clay lost his step father, so Clay has had a lot of tough times, poor guy! i feel for him, but i know he is strong and trusts in God completely, definitley a good role model eh?

I believe (don't quote me on this one) but I think it happened when he was in school. I'm not entirely sure. But she shot herself in the head. I think she was thirty? Not sure on that one either. I don't think it had anything to do with Clay's fame. I found all this out through the Barbara Walters interview, who is famous for digging up the past in people, and if you notice, Mrs. Walters has a habit of making her guests cry at least once per interview. (But I don't recall Clay crying...) I haven't seen the interview in a while, maybe check the clack site or another site like measureofafan and view it for the details on his sister.

Hey y'all I read in a magazine that Clays sister killed herself I don't know why but they said that Clay thinks it's bacause he didn't return any of her calls.But i don't know,I just read it.Peace ya'll

No no no... She called him a few times, but he was too busy at the moment to return the calls when they were made. Then his mom called him later to inform him that she had died. The reason for her attempt to call him is unknown. This is all I know, and no one will know the truth behind her suicide, nor the truth behind her phone calls to Clay.

OMG!!!!! sorry...i havent been here in a few days...but it's TRUE?? clay's father really did die???? where did u all hear it from? cuz i only heard it on 2 clay sites out of like the millions of clay sites that there are.
