How far will Matt get in the competition? Is it his looks, voice or personality that is his biggest strength?

I don't think that he's the one... but, he will do okay.

Well, Matt is very charming. He has the sparkle and performs so well. He could charm the pants off of half the country.

I guess... but he will have to get a much better song selection that what I saw last night.
I was absolutely not impressed with him... he needs to have that "bigger than life" voice back. Not that whimpy, sissy, mellow voice that he tried to pull off last night.

Yes, he needs a song that fits his voice and lets him bust out.

Well, he's going to need more than ONE song. He will need one each week that he's there.

I have a feeling that he is the designated guy in the top 10.

I don't know about Michael comming back. All the singers that I liked-Katie, Michael, Lisa are all gone. I seem to have the pick of death so to speak.

Matt has a tough/sweet "back-story" going.

In one frame Matt's talking about making Simon's head bleed -- and in the next he's wearing a Breast Cancer Pink Ribbon saying "for my Mom". Hmmmmmm.

How can you not love a guy who loves his mommy.

I thought that Matt's performance Tues. Night was not good and the only reason he got through is that he is a decent looking big football player that has teddy bear appeal. I can't imagine that he won on that performance. My personal choices were #5 and #8 that night and neither of them got through. Also, I can't imagine him even making the top 6 after the final 12 start performing and would be very surprised if he went much further than that; but with so many females involved with the voting, anything is possible; I mean, look how far Justin G. made it in Season 1 or Josh the Marine in Season 2.

i thought that matt sang well on tuesday night. and i thought that lisa didn't. i think it's just an easy excuse to say the results would have been different if people hadn't voted on looks alone. just my opinion.

Lisa sounded much better than Matt did! In my humble opinion, that is.

I dont think Matt did a good performance last tuesday. I do like Marissa better.

Hmm.... I don't actually like Matt Rogers very much...he was the best of the guys in Group 2...but uh...that's not really saying much is it????
I defintely thought he took a sopt that was rightfully Lisa Leushners though....

I think that Matt rocks so much even though he got 11th on American Idol he could still put out a cd and make tons of money.

Matt's not going on the tour. Neither is Leah. They just said so on On Air with Ryan Secreast.

I LOVE Matt almost as much as I love Clay, which is a ton, I cried like a little baby when Matt got voted off of American Idol. In my humble opinion, Matt should have been in the top 5. He should be able to go on tour, but I guess that now I will just go to watch George, La Toya, Diana, Amy, and John.

I know Matt was funny and I enjoyed having him on the show. I thought he should of been at least in the top 10....and I cried a little when he was kicked from the show....because I knew all along that only the top 10 went on tour (seeing that is how it was last year and the year before) and I was upset that he was gone...and not able to go. I'm happy John & JPL made the tour...and I will also enjoy seeing Diana (also because it will be in her homestate), George...and I can't wait to see who duets with who???

I know putting Matt on the tour would only make it funnier. I mean putting him,JPL and Amy onstage together....they look like they would make the show fun for everyone....

I mean that the 3 of them (Matt, JPL and Amy) look like they would all have a good time together onstage and make it fun...but I am not stressing out about him not being on the tour because my boys (JPL and John Stevens) are going to be there

I don't see why they just don't let Matt go on the tour...I mean can they not see that a lot of people want him there...I have done everything to help....I signed that thing and all...even after he said that thing about John Stevens....I hope it all works out for ya'all!!!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Clay and he would make the tour great, I can't wait until they finally decide whether they will let Matt onto the concert list!

they are getting ready for the tour right now...they all had to be back in HOLLYWOOD a week ago....so I don't know....I don't know a way of finding out...

Because of a very sad turn of events I would doubt very much that Matt will be on tour unless he joins it later. Please everybody keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. They were just told this week that his mom, who has battled many bouts with cancer, is not doing at all well. Although they did say she only had a few days left, I do believe in the power of prayer so please everybody pray for her and the family.
