While reading through, I noticed a Pro-Palestinian bias. It was hard to pinpoint, but I found some proof.

This website is dedicated to debating the Israeli-Palestinian conflict - yet, it manages to have a whole section dedicated to the USS liberty Accident.

What in GODS NAME does that have to do with the Palestinians? This was a case of friendly fire between the Israelis and Americans, which many Anti-Zionists simply use to smear Israel.

Another thing I noticed was their constant refferencing to the Jenin massacre - which was already rebutted by the UN themselves.

But other than that, thanks for sharing.

Here's one of my personal favorites:

I saw that link, dont worry i also find it biased like you find my links biased, and the USS Liberty attack was never friendly, infact one of the survivors spoke about it, giving full details that Israel knew that they were American. Let me get it.

I bet you, if one American was killed by a Palestinian you would mention it non-stop.

Obviously the survivors are going to be traumatized by the event, all they saw were Israeli Jets attacking them.

Here is the full story:

Over 13 Investigations have been held on this case, all of which found it an accident. Even the United states said it was an accident, and ive argued about this for WAY to long to go at it again.

No thank you, CNN and your links give me only but headaches, and the survivors are 100% sure that the Israelis knew that it was an american ship, being made by arabs is no excuse, and it had a flag out, i dont think Israel sends blind men to fly thier air crafts.

The U.S. Navy Court of Inquiry found that the Liberty's flag was very likely drooped due to a calm sea and not discernible; moreover, members of the crew, including the Captain, Commander William McGonagle, testified that the flag was knocked down after the first or second assault.

Well not according to the other survivors, maybe the Captain got bribed to lie about it, since America is known to cover up Israeli attacks on Americans and Peace activists, and why are u giving me links? Its useless, ur crap is not going to work with me.

As for the liberty incident, I dont think anyone will know for sure, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if it was Israel's fault entirely. After all, Israel do have some track record of terror against America, e.g. The Lavon Affair.

Conspiracies Conspiracies!

Please, somebody give me ONE good reason why Israel would attack the US, its largest ally, during one of its most brutal defensive wars?

It was clearly an accident due to the fog of war.

Fog of war, flag was down, it was an arab ship, im sorry , but those wont work in such a serioud manner, also, according to the Survivors, the Israeli planes circled the ship a couple of times and the american solvers waived at them, you dont belive me? read the link i gave you

Israeli reconnaissance aircraft closely studied the Liberty during an eight-hour period prior to the attack, one flying within 200 feet of the ship. Weather reports confirm the day was clear with unlimited visibility. The Liberty was a clearly marked American ship in international waters, flying an American flag and carrying large U.S. Navy hull letters and numbers on its bow.

Despite claims by Israeli intelligence that they confused the Liberty with a small Egyptian transport, the Liberty was conspicuously different from any vessel in the Egyptian navy. It was the most sophisticated intelligence ship in the world in 1967. With its massive radio antennae, including a large satellite dish, it looked like a large lobster and was one of the most easily identifiable ships afloat.

Israel attempted to prevent the Liberty's radio operators from sending a call for help by jamming American emergency radio channels.

Israeli torpedo boats machine-gunned lifeboats at close range that had been lowered to rescue the most-seriously wounded.
As a result, our commission concluded that:

There is compelling evidence that Israel's attack was a deliberate attempt to destroy an American ship and kill her entire crew.

In attacking the USS Liberty, Israel committed acts of murder against U.S. servicemen and an act of war against the United States.

The White House knowingly covered up the facts of this attack from the American people.

The truth continues to be concealed to the present day in what can only be termed a national disgrace.

They were Mirage Fighter Jets, armed with Air to Air combat Machine guns. These jets fly only at high speeds, and high altitudes, certainly not designed, nor armed to idenitfy, no destroy a ship. They circled several times in an attempt to identify the ship - they failed to do so.

If Israel was planning on attacking/sinking the the Liberty, they would have properly armed the Jet, used an UNMARKED jet, rather than one with a big Star of David on it, and there probably wouldn't have been any survivors to tell you of these stories.
