Everyone Must Read!! Regarding Spoilers!!

American Idol: Season 3 Forum

We've already posted something... but you ALL need to read this.

On nights where there are people that go forward, or get the boot, here's a list of what to do and not to do:

1) Post in the designated threads that the Staff supply you with, such as,
Sticky: 2/11/04 the losers
Sticky: SHOW 2/11/04 Comments on the ones going through

These are the threads where you can post in, up until 9pm, pacific standard time. That is... west coast of the United States.

2) Do not make ANY threads with spoiler give aways in the titles.

Those of us on the West coast obviously see this last. And, since some are three hours ahead, we should still be able to be online, and participating in threads. We will stay out of the designated threads for the result talks... but we need EVERYONE to follow this and be curtious to everyone else who loves and watches American Idol.

Please guys. Don't spoil it for us. There is not much to look foreward to on TV. You still have the designated threads. This way will make it fun for all of us.

good idea KJ. being on the east coast, this never occurred to me.

Is there any way to be sure that those particular threads will be opened for the east coast and mid-west people?

Many times they arent opened when we are ready to post...and then we have to search for people to open them.

see if Marc or Sean, or one of the other Senion Mods is on. PM whoever you can from who I've just listed, and see if they can get in here.

I will try to get it open before I leave work from now on though. If you have time on those nights, pm me during the day and let me know.

Nope. We see it three hours after it airs on the East Coast. It is live on the East, taped everywhere else.

One request, if I may.
There are 8 pages of threads here and I only want to ask that before a poster starts a new thread, they maybe do a forum search and see if one already exists for that topic, contestant or whatever.

I love reading what everyone posts, but I think I'm missing things ... besides getting dizzy.

Same thing. East Coast views it, we see it out here 3 hours later.

Let me get this straight. This is my understanding so please confirm or correct.

American Idol's regular West Coast ( tape delayed) broadcast times are:

Tue. Performance Show: 8-9 PM PST
Wed. Results Show: 8 or 8:30-9 PM PST

So on the West Coast, both AI shows always end at 9 PM PST, unless otherwise announced or scheduled.

That would then be:

9 PM, PST

10 PM, Mountain

11 PM, Central

12 Midnight, Eastern

Sounds right to me.

That's it, obaf. There was one night that it went till 9:30pm, but just once.

ok i for one, dont live in the states and i get AI on friday here and result show on saturday. as long as i get to read what happened before friday, i'm satisfied. and i thank you all for that.

i become irrelevant and muddled esp. during result shows. i will beg for details. ok, so.. where do i go for result shows again?

Then ... the mods post a SPOILER thread for the RESULTS show every Wednesday ... and that's THE ONLY PLACE we discuss results on Wednesdays so that it isn't spoiled for people who haven't yet seen the broadcast.


Then there's folks like you who love to be spoiled ...and you can join in there too !

yeah I see the show on Tuesdays at 8:00 and results start at 8:30 on Wednesdays
