Tolkien books becoming easier to find:) |
| Posted by: fuscia | | J.R.R. Tolkien books are becoming easier to find. I went to Barnes and Noble today. They had The Book of Lost Tales, The Treason of Isengard, The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, Unfinished Tales as well as many others. The were mostly paperback, but they are out there. | | Reply To this Message

The Tolkien books are becoming easier to find because people think that now the movies have come out more people would be interested in reading the books.
I went and bought a few new Tolkien books the other day, Tales from the perilous realm and unfinished tales, as well as picking up Bored of the Rings and the Soddit (which are spoof versions of the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings). I haven't gotten round to reading them yet, but I have read Bored of the Rings, it's quite funny actually, with Goodgolf, Frito and Spam. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: White Tiger | | It is really your desicion.
I am currently working my way through "Tale from the perilous realm" and "the unfinished tales" but they are a bit hard to get into.
If you are looking for a spoof I would highly recomend "Bored of the Rings" it is a very funny book, but I haven't read the "Soddit" yet so I cannot coment on it. | | Reply To this Message
