Well... I just finished watching our boy C-Man on R&K. (haha... Told y'all I'd call him that...) How funny was it that he was on the show the same day as the first lady Mrs. Laura Bush? Hmm... Yeah, it wouldn't have looked very proper to put some toilet-mouthed singer/rapper/musician on the show the same day as her. (Wouldn't exactly look very respectable. Good idea to put Clay on.. VERY good idea!)

Anyhoo... I'm gonna get right to it, in case someone missed it...

Clay sang "The Way", which was sensational! Do you guys remember how upset we were when we got the single for BOTW/TITN and how the music was overpowering his voice? Well I thought about that as I was watching his performance,
literally two minutes ago... But this performance was the exact opposite. No overpowering band, and no overpowering back-up singers (there weren't any, just lonely Clay lookin' sexy standing there with his mic on a mic stand... Rrr... Oh to be the mic stand.... ) The song was shortened due to air time, with him singing the first verse&chorus, and the bridge to the end.

After an awesome performance, he chatted a bit with Kelly and Regis. Kelly opened the convo up with stating that she met some (ha. Sure there were just "some") Clayfans, and Clay just kinda laughed his nervous laugh and stared immediately at his feet as he shuffled them (I'm big at watching expressions) and they asked him about SNL and how he liked acting.. Which he laughed at that remark, made a funny face, and did his little cute stutter... hehe! Holy crow! He's like a foot taller than Regis! Regis and Kelly looked like dwarfs (or Hobbits) next to Clay! (Okay, so it wasn't THAT drastic of a height diff... But there was still a good half foot. It was funny.)

And then they asked a question that he's probably been asked fifty million times by now, and I'm sure the last time he was on R&K they asked him... "How long have you been singing? Since you were little, correct?" (give or take a few words) Talk about beating a dead horse. I'm sure Clay was like, ummm... yeah.... This question again... yeay. Here's a hint: go on the net, check up stuff on Clay, take notes, and ask some original questions!!!! That goes out to all those hosts and interviewers everywhere... Come on people. It's not that hard! (sorry guys, I just hate it when they have to ask such stupid questions that they know WE know already... Lately Kelly's been acting loopy, a little ditzy. Hopefully it's just a cold)

Other than that, and Kelly digging up an incident of her childhood past of being in a Sears and playing with the carpet samples (it ties in with Clay singing on them as a lad and getting payed by the customers) which sounds really really fun (too bad I'm a big girl now and can't play like that without getting weird looks from other customers), that was pretty much the whole shebang. Oh and yeah... His tour kicks off on the 24th, but we all knew that.

Quick, easy, and I still want more!!!!

Actually Kelly & Regis referred to Clay's fans as CLAYMATES. They got a kick out of that. Clay bent down twice to kiss Kelly on the cheek. Thought that was nice! I felt that they treated Clay very well, in spite of the fact they have made it known that they preferred Ruben over Clay, while American Idol was on at that time of the competition. Also, Regis interacted with Clay quite a bit at the Christmas parade, so he's gotten to know Clay better.

I agree with you Punky. Clay sings so much better just on his own. The back up singers don't help him at all. I loved the outfit he had on today. Classy looking!

Clayfans, claymates, ah what's the diff?! (actually that was a typo, I was thinking "claymates" but typed "clayfans" instead... hate that when my fingers type faster than I can think... Aah!)

On a side note, nice to see Clay sway back to his natural hair colour... Missed the red for a while there... But the blonde is nice on him too...
