location, location, location! |
| Posted by: Shadow Stalker | | allright lotr fans, what's your favorite location in the books and movies? also, since many of you seem to be putting your location down as being somewhere in Middle-earth, mind telling us why you put that specific spot?
my favorite spot in terms of peace and quiet woud be Rivendell or Hobbiton. the spookiest/most depressing place would be Mordor. and in terms of sheer beauty or grandeur, i'd say Minas Tirith.
as for my current location...well i seem to have gotten myself caught by Melkor...i knew it was a bad idea trying to cheat him at cards..but i think he overreacted a little... | | Reply To this Message

Well, my current location is at the Green Dragon. I need a bit of fun, so I wanted to be there having a pint.
If I needed to relax, it would be Rivendel. I would want to live in Bilbos house. It just seems to fit me. Oh, and since I am 5'3 and much shorter than Gandalf, I don't think I would hit my head too much. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Sugarush | | I'd want to live in Rivendell but I thought Minas Morgul looked awesome-you know if I wanted to go someplace to stir up evil. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Sandy_Murray | | It's gotta be Minas Tirith; you've got the nice warm climate, the mountains for skiing, and the sea is just a 200 mile boat trip away!
Plus you would have a mighty fine view of the remains of Barad-Dur, and the triumph of good over evil in Mordor | | Reply To this Message

My favourite place would be the Shire! I mean, there people dont think you are weird if you ask for second breakfast! | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Heatherhobbit | | I would love to live in the shire. It's so peaceful and beautiful. The people are simple and friendly. I would love to just work in my garden all day and then go down to the Green Dragon to have a drink with peregr!in and fuscia. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | Yes there is nothing like the Shire. Beautiful gardens, you can eat all you want, and they have a great pub. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Heatherhobbit | | Places like Rivendell and Lothlorien would be nice to visit, but you could really live in places like Hobbiton and Buckland. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: White Tiger | | For peace and Tranquillity I would choose Lothlorien.
For the evil place I would probably be in Dol Guldur or the Angband.
Currently I am in Esgaroth upon Long-Lake making my way to Dale. | | Reply To this Message
