Peter Andre has re-relaesed his 1997 hit single "Mysterious Girl" after his success on the UK Reality TV series "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here". The single has been Number one in the UK charts for the past two weeks but looks set to be knocked off this week by Kylie Minogue's "Red Blooded Woman" or Britney Spears' "Toxic".

The single was re-released exactly as it was originally released in 1997, same music, same video, same everything. After this success, Peter Andre is looking at recording a new album and reviving his failed pop star career.

I used to have it on single (on cassette LOL) 7 years ago, I have no idea what happened to it. I used to love him, that is so sad now when I think of it.

But not as sad as my cousin, it came out the week that he had gone to an East-17 concert back in 1997-ish and the supporting act was Peter Andre, and he went more for Peter Andre than East-17. I don't know which is worse LOL.

I remember East 17 (then called themselves E17 or something, I think). I have a friend who has all of their albums on CD... keeps them in the car and listens to them on long trips, along with DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince (well, those are classics) and a CD that's probably called "Baby Got Back and other lame tunes"

As Lord Brocket and Neil Ruddock spent the weekend clinging to their jungle fame, the model was causing a stir at the International Book Fair in London not least of all as she dropped the book and revealed every page was BLANK.

As Brocket and former footballer Ruddock joined Cliff Richard for a charity cabaret turn, Jordan was mobbed by photographers. Her publishers say Being Jordan: My Autobiography has sold 250,000 in advance sales and added: 'The book isn't printed yet. It's not due out until the end of May . With Jordan, anything could happen before then.'

Another reason to feel sorry for Peter Andre. His new found celebrity status in Britain from “I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here” has given the tabloids there any number of reasons to question his manhood.

Actually, News of The World didn’t just question it, it loudly wondered if it was there at all. The esteemed journal quotes the “stunning” Rebekah Nicholson as saying poor Pete has “the smallest trouser equipment I’ve ever seen”. Dear Rebekah told the News of the World that she cheated on her then husband with Peter, only to be so disappointed she just had to tell a tabloid about it years later.

“When he pulled down his pants I couldn’t believe it – it was a miniature chipolata”, she said. And hows this for details: “He had absolutely no hairs on his body. He’d shaved them all off”.

Andre ignites UK - May 31, 2004

Aussie pop singer Peter Andre will vie for his second No 1 hit on the UK charts this year when he releases his new single today.

Andre has revived his singing career in Britain after appearing on the reality TV show I'm A Celebrity, where he hooked up with page three girl Jordan.

That led to a re-release of his song Mysterious Girl, which went straight to No 1 in February with more than 300,000 sales, eight years after its original release.

It also put the 31-year-old Queenslander into the Guinness Book of Records as the only singer to have the same song hit the top of the UK charts three times.

When he was on the celebrity reality show, Andre sang his new single to his fellow contestants and the British public lapped it up.

His publicist said he was inundated with requests from record labels and eventually signed with East West Records, with whom he recorded Insania, to be released today.

Andre will release an album titled The Long Road Back on June 7.

Peter Andre was the last thing on Jordan's mind during yet another big night out.

The Aussie crooner seemed sadly forgotten as the glamour girl canoodled with a mystery man at swanky London hotspot Chinawhite on Wednesday night.

And despite recent claims that the extrovert party girl had been replaced by her goody two-shoes alter ego Katie Price, it was definitely Jordan who hit the town.

So it was back to boobs strapped into a barely-existent top, shorts that resembled two handkerchiefs strung together and a copious amount of vodka and Red Bull.

Then, of course, there's the tall, dark stranger who spent a rather large amount of time with the 26-year-old mum.

A spy at the club tells us: "She seemed to be really enjoying his company.

"He was introduced to Jordan by a friend and they then spent a large part of the night very close together. Jordan had her arms round him, and was whispering in his ear and giggling.

"They were definitely getting very friendly."

It was past 3am when Jordan and her new friend left the club separately.

According to our source: "Earlier in the night the same guy had been having quite a row with one of his friends. It got really heated and the bouncers intervened.

"It looked like he would definitely be ushered out of the club. But security managed to calm him down and the next thing we knew he had latched on to Jordan. He couldn't have looked happier."

PETER ANDRE reckons he wants to pen a song for his girlfriend Jordan.

The singer says he would love to write hits for other artists in the pop music world, especially his busty sweetheart.

The star, who's currently at No. 3 in the charts with Insania, said: 'I would love to write for other people.Mostof all I love to sing R&B and soul, but when I write I know I'm best at writing pop.

'I would write for soul artists and I would love to write for Kate if she wanted me to.'

Jordan, alias Katie Price, showed her support for Peter when she accompanied him on his record signing at Glasgow's Big W store yesterday. Fresh from her presenting stint on Hell's Kitchen, Jordan said she was determined to back Peter throughout his music career, but refused to pose for our photographer. The couple then denied reports that they had had a lover's tiff over Peter's admiration for Jordan's rival, model Jodi Marsh.

He said: 'It's all a load of rubbish. Kate came with me to support me and because I wanted her here.'

Jordan added: 'Who is Jodi Marsh? I like going to work with Peter, we're a couple, we support each other. Anyone's partner would do the same.'

Peter says he's met people who dismissed him first time around, but feels hehas got sweet revenge on them.

He said: 'A lot of people dissed me but people say the best revenge is to be successful. I don't feel I need to prove anything any more.'

Jordan, dressed in a pink velour skirt and top, chided Peter for being too honest and told him off for getting too close to us Razz girls. She said: 'You always give too much,' and joked 'what's with all the kisses?'

And Peter can't wait to return to Scotland on July 9, when he plays the Royal Concert Hall. He said: 'When I did the SECC all those years ago it was the best response I ever got. The crowd was just amazing. This time round I want to get some of the fans on stage to sing, so they'd better know the words to my songs. Come and give me love this time and I'll give it back.'

Peter Andre and Jordan got involved in yet another public bust-up after Peter refused to allow his busty bird to be pictured with him at T4's Popbeach event on Sunday.

"The snappers in the media room wanted a picture of them together," says our mole. "Jordan asked Peter if it would be OK. But he snapped back: 'Absolutely no way!'

"She then asked if she could have one picture of herself alone and again he said 'no' very firmly."

The couple then stormed off to Peter's people carrier and had a massive row.

"Jordan was screaming at Peter," says our onlooker. "She couldn't believe he'd humiliated her like that. She stormed off and slammed the car door - which set the alarm off."

NOW we've heard the lot... Jordan has been branded a "nightmare" after refusing to keep her clothes on during a photoshoot.

The 26-year-old "glamour" girl was hired at a cut rate to launch a new boys' mag.

The publication, a sort of mini-Loaded for 12- to 14-year-old boys, wanted the model to front their Euro 2004 edition.

But an insider on the magazine Sorted told 3am that the hiring was a "big mistake". Our source, who was at the photoshoot says: "She didn't seem to understand that our magazine was aimed at young lads.

"We wanted her to pose in an England football shirt with a couple of footballs - unfortunately she seemed desperate to get her clothes off for the pics.

"She made a real deal about the whole thing, and kept asking if she could go topless. It was terrible. We're not that type of magazine. We can't have naked women in a publication for young boys." Certainly not.

Jordan, who was apparently accompanied on the shoot by lover Peter Andre, eventually agreed to the snaps but "not until there had been a lot of very loud complaining."


The ordeal for the staff at the Brighton-based magazine - which has since folded - did not end there.

Our source confided: "The interview was even worse. She was totally uninterested.

"The interviewer had 30 questions prepared - tame stuff revolving around first boyfriends, growing up, and advice for our young readers.

"She got through all our questions in about eight minutes. The only time she did perk up was when she was asked cruder sex-based questions. But that was no good for our young readers."

A spokeswoman for Jordan told us last night: "As far as we're concerned there was no tantrum. Katie was absolutely fine on the shoot, there were no problems, and she was quite happy with the line of questioning during the interview

"And there was never any question of Katie going topless. The only place you will see Katie topless is in her calendar."

And in the back of cars, falling out of Chinawhite, leaving the Embassy club. And we could go on...

BY rights Peter Andre should be languishing in the budget bin of your local Woolies alongside Chesney Hawkes and Apache Indian.

But although the teenies in the audience didn't remember Andre's first stab at pop blandom in 1996, they went utterly berserk as the Second Coming of Peter descended upon the Royal Concert Hall.

Andre's abs could have a career of their own, but he kept his kit on - for the most part - during this cynical, and ultimately surreal performance.

He dances like a drunken Michael Jackson, goes through more costume changes than Madonna and whines like he's got a clothes peg on his nose.

The presence of new flame Jordan in the audience seemed to spur him on.

But it didn't stop him stuttering through Kool And The Gang's Let's Go Dancin' like a clown at a kids' birthday party.

A God-awful interpretation turned The Eagles' Hotel California into Motel Hell. But some 60 painstaking minutes late, Andre finally led the tots in a merry dance with hokey-cokey style renditions of Mysterious Girl and Insania.

Thanks to a refresher course in celebrity, the beefcake with the perfect pecks has clambered his way out of the reject bin. Don't wory, though. His romance with Katie Price is likely to last longer than his music career.

PETER ANDRE sparked rumours that he has popped the question to JORDAN by whipping out a £5,000 diamond ring during a romantic dinner.

The singer turned heads at a restaurant in the Maldives on Saturday night by pulling out the sparkler and presenting it to the model.

The couple were taking a break at an exclusive resort on the Indian Ocean island of Rangali — and onlookers say the couple were all over each other the whole night.

Peter, who hit it off with Jordan when they appeared together in ITV’s I’m A Celebrity show, has told pals he is “besotted” with her and says she is the woman he wants to settle down with.

An onlooker at the posh Hilton hotel, where the lovebirds were staying, told me: “Jordan and Peter were having a meal in the hotel’s swish restaurant.

“Jordan was unusually quiet, although at one point she did manage to lift up her skirt to scratch her bottom in the middle of the restaurant — which didn’t go unnoticed with the other diners.

Peter Andre's attitude towards his young fans is growing increasingly Insania.

The I'm A Celebrity star agreed to meet a group of competition winners prior to his show at Somerset's Popstars On The Park.

But the Aussie warbler, who was joined at the event by girlfriend Jordan, left the "lucky" youngsters waiting... for seven-and-a-half hours!

And the reason for his delay at the Brean Leisure Park event last Wednesday? Ummm... apparently poor Petey had been on the theme park's rides and needed a lie-down.

Kirsty Brown, whose 11-year-old daughter Emily was one of the dozen youngsters left waiting, was shocked when she heard the singer's excuse.

The miffed mum said: "I don't think it says much for the reputation of that six-pack stomach of his. I'd have expected it to be a lot stronger."

The prize winners were told to arrive at the park by 4.30pm so they could meet the star before he performed his hits Mysterious Girl and Insania. But it was past midnight before the tired tykes received their autographs and hugs from the 31-year-old hunk.

Irate parent David Hocking said: "I'd have thought any man who could lie down with Jordan could take anything Brean Leisure had to throw at him."

Our source said: "We understand he had to prepare for his performance but seven-and-a-half hours is a long time to keep the poor kids waiting

And if he keeps treating his fans like this, we can't see his second attempt faring any better.

Jordan asked her boyfriend Peter Andre when he was going to pop the question today, when the pair appeared on television to promote his latest single.

The model and pop star, who met on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in February, were appearing on GMTV to promote Andre's latest record, The Right Way, when conversation turned to marriage.

Jordan was quick to deny the pair are already engaged, saying: "We're not engaged, we haven't split up and I'm not pregnant."

But then she turned to Andre and said: "So Pete, when are you going to ask me then?"

The singer replied: "It's a leap year, so it's your turn."

Jordan, who was in court yesterday accused of breaking a photographer's camera, maintained she was a traditional sort of girl and was not going to pop the question herself.

IT'S one of the poshest parties on the showbiz calendar - but we knew we could trust Jordan to lower the tone.

And she did so in spectacular style - picking a cat-fight with glamour rival Anne-Marie Mogg and shouting at her that she needed liposuction.

The claws came out at the aftershow party for the GQ Man of the Year Awards - where Moggy made the mistake of upstaging Jordan, real name Katie Price, on the red carpet.

Everyone knows that if you wear a more revealing outfit than publicity-addicted Price, you pay the...well...price!

But, worse still, Anne-Marie - sometime squeeze of Blue hunk Simon Webbe - boobed again by chatting with Jordan's greasy-haired boyfriend Peter Andre.

And so 26-year-old Jordy followed her and let rip.

Anne-Marie, 21, told us: "Peter was deep in conversation with me asking where such an exotic girl like me came from.

"Having taken a dislike to me from the outset Jordan turned and said: 'I heard you're showing some flesh tonight, turn around.'

"So I did and she sneered: 'Don't you think you need a bit of lipo?' "

Having seen Anne-Marie, who wore a sheer Wheels and Doll Baby dress, we can confirm the last thing she needs is liposuction. Moggy continued: "I told Jordan she had a great figure but I wouldn't be going under the knife.

"But after I complimented her on her figure, she said 'It's much better than yours'."

Clearly the I'm A Celebrity desperado hasn't looked in a mirror lately.

And as for Mr Sixpack - he can't leave home without his glory-grabbing girlfriend trying to hog the limelight. Earlier the Aussie singer presented comic David Walliams with a Man of the Year Award.

But Jordan still managed to make the biggest impression. Anne-Marie, who has a degree in business and French, said: "I'm not one to get into a *****-fight so I just ignored Jordan and continued talking to Peter.

"Then when they were leaving, Peter turned to kiss my cheeks, but Jordan shouted 'Get off my man'.

"He told her not to be silly, to which she shouted 'lipo, lipo, lipo!'."

Guests at the bash included Sir Elton John, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Rachel Stevens and Max Beesley.

An insider at the Royal Opera House do in London on Tuesday said: "Jordan's got a real jealous streak. She hates it if Peter shows anyone else attention, especially someone as sexy as Anne-Marie.

"She'd prefer to just lock him up at home, away from his hordes of fans."

AUSTRALIAN pop singer Peter Andre and his breast-flashing model girlfriend Jordan are to marry.

Andre is reported to have bought a stunning engagement ring, which he plans to give Jordan on a cruise ship today, London's Sun newspaper said.

The couple, who met on British reality TV show I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here that was shot in a rainforest near the Gold Coast this year, flew to Miami from London yesterday with Jordan's son Harvey.

"There have been lots of discussions in recent weeks about getting engaged," a close friend of the couple told the Sun.

"But Peter is going to make it official on Monday at the start of the cruise."

Another friend said: "At the moment it is being kept very hush-hush. They are away for a week, so could return to England as Mr and Mrs Andre."

The relationship between Jordan, whose real name is Kate Price, and Andre has delivered spectacular financial dividends to the couple.

Andre relaunched his long-dormant pop career with instant success. His re-released 1990s single, Mysterious Girl, went straight to No. 1 in the British charts and has had two top 10 hits since.

Andre's parents, Thea, 60, and Savva, 62, will fly from their Queensland home to join Jordan's mother, Amy Price, for the celebration.

Celebrity Lineup for Jungle Challenge 'Finalised'

The lineup of intrepid stars who will fight it out to be ruler of the jungle in the new series of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! has been finalised, it was reported today.

It will include a couple – former East 17 frontman Brian Harvey and model Emma B – for the first time, according to The Sun.

The newspaper reported that the other stars confirmed include model Sophie Anderton, the late Princess of Wales’ former butler Paul Burrell, and pop princess Kylie Minogue’s ex, James Gooding.

Also reportedly flying out to Australia are comedian Joe Pasquale, former All Saints star Natalie Appleton, Anne Charleston, who played Madge in Neighbours, and journalist Janet Street-Porter.

Former page three girl Jilly Johnson, now 52, and singer Sheila Ferguson from Seventies’ group The Three Degrees, are the final team members confirmed, the newspaper said.

But last minute negotiations are apparently still going on with former Wham! star Andrew Ridgeley, hairdresser to the stars Nicky Clarke and footballer Paul Gascoigne.

Jordan Reveals She's Pregant

Jordan is five months' pregnant by fiance Peter Andre, according to reports.

The jungle lovers decided to keep the news secret until they'd had the all-clear after a recent scan. But they've just revealed the big news to The Sun and explained their concern with the scan:

"This was of particular importance due to the health complications with baby Harvey. The new baby is due this summer. We are all looking forward to the new addition to the family and we are extremely happy," the paper reports them as saying.

The baby is due in June and Jordan told the paper that she's hoping to be back to her slim self in time for their wedding in September.

Jordan, 26, and Peter, 31, met early last year while filming I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

Jordan already has a two-year-old son, Harvey, by footballer Dwight Yorke and will soon be seen battling it out to represent Britain at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Sun columnist Jordan — who is already mum to son Harvey, two — told OK magazine she wanted a natural birth. But the 34FF model said she might go for an epidural. Peter is determined to be at the birth. He said: “I want to be there holding her hand and talking to her.”

The couple plan to get wed after the birth. Jordan is also vying to represent the UK in the Eurovision song contest in May.
