Carnies-What are parents thinking

Alright now, just a random subject. What are parents thinking when they let their children go to moving fairs that have the people called carnies? People who don't shower, and if they do, they wait till their day off when it rains, which in turn, is their shower. They have no teeth, no toilet paper and no tact. Which are the essential three T's. And if you happen to be a carnie, I'm sorry dude but, clean your a** up. The whole point is the phenomenon of parents letting their children go to these things when them as parents went to them growing up and know exactly what kind of people carnies are. There's one famous movie out there with Jodie Foster getting involved with a carnie and taking off or something like that. Anyways, any thoughts anyone.

You hear all these stories about carnies and fair workers being unclean and well, frankly, gross people. Here is a story that backs that up. My family is from a lake town. My uncle told me a story about a carnival coming to town one summer when his kids were younger. One night on the way to my grandma's house, he happened to spot some vehicle parked next to the city lagoon. Being that he works for the city, he decided to pull up and see what was the goings on. Here it was the carnies, they had mistaken the city's lagoon for the lake. He said nothing to them, figuring he wouldn't spoil their fun.

Hey dont be so hard on the carnies man. They smell like cabbage, and if your ever feeling down you know you can always look to a carnie for a big self esteem boost, they'll hit on anyone.
