These reality shows are getting worst by the minute but for some stupid reason I am watching them. I can't believe what they are doing to this poor girl and her family! I hope they have started her on medication (for stress, insominia, depression and ulcers) because it seems that she is going to need them including therapy for her and probably her family.

Now, while I am watching this show, I keep telling my spouse that we are just encouraging networks by bringing their ratings up and that we should stop but no.... It is not like I am chained in front of my tv and that nothing better is playing but morbid curiosity.

Of course I am the only one to blame for this but I hope that she will get the money no matter what. Am I the only one doing this?

Well...not wait...they might be messing with her on the Steve issue...but she was all for doing this to make money herself....she is all for trying to fool her family into believing this whole thing.

I dont consider feeling bad for her...especially when she is knowingly involved and she has half a million in her pocket if she pulls it off.

I dont usually watch reality shows...besides AI. I watch this...I dont watch survivor or any other ones...I just happened to watch this one night after AI and thought it was funny enough to keep it going.

You are right Mystic she is fooling her family to pull off half a million so she is not that innocent.

Thanks!

It's called a cheap thrill and entertainment. Splurg a little, live a little.....and don't forget to laugh a little.

don't feel bad. the coy family must have some people that got brains to figure out they're still on a reality show. anyway, if she doesn't get the $500,000 then that's alright. I'm pretty sure she'll receive $$$ for her and her family's faces on tv.

It's self decrepitating to watch shows like this. Laughing ourselves into oblivion. Randy wanted to win so bad, she was so serious while Steve and family were playing out their obnoxious parts with the Coys.

All during the show, Randi said it's still worth it and wanted her parents and the brother and sisters to play along so that they don't spoil her chance of scoring the big lottery payoff. Randi at one point was torn and questioned whether she'll win the money and cried. She sorta hated herself for doing it to her family and hopes that they'll understand and forgive her.

I have to admit that if they are not starting or at least her to suspect that something is up that they are not the smartess family. Like how much can these people endure! This shows that certain people are willing to do anything for money.

I don't feel bad anymore for any of them and have to admit that it is getting quite funny.

Thanks for all your comments!

This is the only "reality show" that I've ever watched. Honestly. And, if it weren't so damned hilarious, I'd have given up on it the first night.

Fortunately for this show, it has a slot in the Monday Night Doldrums, the stagnant time on the programming schedule, where all of us guys who would rather be watching Monday Night Football (if it were on) are looking for anything to watch that doesn't make us gag.

It is not really very good (plot, drama, etc) but it is falling down on the floor with the dog and howling funny! If we can't watch football, then lowbrow adolescent humor is the next best thing.

Not since future Senator John Blutarski drove away from Faber College in a stolen convertible, have I watched a lout as funny as Steve. Give this man an Emmy!

The ending was really sweet and it is nice to know that some families really support each other!
