k, did you guys watch American IdolIII this week? They said this one guy, who was not all that good sounded like Clay!!!!! I dunno9 why that made me mad!

no he didnt REALLY sound like clay, but he has clay's type of voice. i don't think they liked that guy tho, they said he has a boring personality.

yeah, this whole group this year is boring!....any ways that guy, its true at some points he sounded like he could mabey sing like clay, but at the end .....ugh, he just wasn't good, and yeah he could never match up to Clays awesome personality

i was watching AI last nite with my dad and he said that it seems they won't find a really great singer this year, cuz no1 really seems as talented as they did last year, but i think that its just the way the first few episodes are. it seems they really focus on the negative. i like to see the bad auditions as much as anybody else, but i really like seeing the good people too. I think we just have to get to know the top 12 or whatever it'll be when America gets to vote, and then we'll start to like their personalities.

Thats very true, but it just seems like this year people are trying to be something they are not....but im hoping things will get more interesting. Itll be a fun show tonight i believe

oh ya, tonites show will be good. i think the shows get better as there are less people, then it can almost focus on everyone, not just the few people who are REALLY bad, really good, or the people like that hot guy who sang to paula or "scooter girl". once it gets into the top 32 we can really pick ppl who we like!

I agree; that guy was not even in the same league as Clay.

When Simon said that in the previews; I got all excited. When he said that he sounded exactly like Clay; well, I thought; "he needs to have his hearing checked."

One thing Simon said; in a remark; was that this guy did not have Clays' personality. He said it as a compliment to Clay and as something that that contestant lacked.

yeah i know i was surprised when i saw that... one of my favorite is that guy who simon said look like a pen salesmen... i dont know if he made it into the top 32 or not.. I wish i could have watched clay last year doin the group singing and all that!

The 'pen salesman' has a funny personality. as for the 'cute' little red head..... he has a good voice but he is so young. I am worried that he needs to be home working on his self confidence. He can't handle the pressure. Yes, he is cute and yes he has a remarkable voice; but confidence comes from experience and he is too young to be entered in this one. Too bad he couldn't have been in the 'juniors' competition. He would have smoked them. I really am worried about how he will handle all the stress involved.

i think that the red haired guy kinda has a voice that is so old for him, and he may not do well in american idol. his voice is effortless though, so he will hopefully do well in life with his amazing talent, whetehr its on AI or not.

I wanted to try-out for American Idol cuz all my friends said too cuz they think i have a great voice.Well I thought bout it and then my rents said i would have to wait and get an audition!!!So that's what i'm doin this summer.I'm really excited and all my friens are supportin me and that makes me feel great!!!But anyways I seen the one where they were sayin that guy sounded like clay and i just sat there and acted like simon and put on the mute on my t.v. and was sayin to the dude,"That was horrible,I really don't think you sound like Clay Aiken and you will never sound like him."And of course i said with simon's accent!!!It was really funny!!!Welll see ya'll
