Tonight the field goes from 87 down to just 32. Will talent win out over looks? Will Lisa the pool girl turn up looking like a prune? Tune in tonight to find out.

Well... what a show this evening. There were some awful singers. I just don't understand these people forgetting their lines. It seems to me, a show of disrespect. Here you are, brought for a chance in a lifetime, and people are screwing around. You have to be willing to sacrifice a few days of fun, sleep, etc...

Look at Alan. He and his ego thought that it wouldn't matter. He has a GREAT voice. He's a very good looking young man, and has a good body. But, in the end, did any of that matter? Nope... he went home tonight. I'm glad... didn't like him, because of his ego.

That one guy... can't remember his name, but he's the one who kept talking to Simon while he was on the stage, even when he was cut, trying to persuade them to change their minds... he drove me up the wall. Sure, he could sing... but, if you're cut, trying to beg or argue will NOT change their minds.

I thought that there were people that got sent home tonight that should still have been there, and some that stayed that I don't know why. That young guy... who sings like Frank Sinatra... he isn't what we're looking for in a pop type idol. I was surprised they kept him. Sure, there is a venue for him... but I don't see it being AI. That's just my opinion. Oh, how about those two brothers? I don't know that I would have kept them... or that big guy from Hawaii.

Who is my pick, as of right now? Amy Adams (the one with the pink/fuscia hair). I think that she's got an INCREDIBLE voice, and I think that she has the drive to make it happen.

Yes, she really stood out. And when she sang that Celine Dion song! WOW!
It is NOT easy, at all, to sing a Celine song. You must have a certain voice to pull it off.
