Tonight was interesting!

I thought the rude girl was gone...I guess they decided to teach her a lesson by letting her think on it for awhile, and let her through because they liked her voice...however, I dont think she won any fans publically....which I think will hurt her!

I loved the first guy (forget his name)...its the guy that Simon said he was kissing up big time...it was hilarious!

The one gal said after she got kicked off that the show wouldnt be the same without her...I hate it when people say that, it sounds so arrogant...like the show shouldnt be on without her.

I dont know...I dont think Im personally missing out...but hey...thats just me I guess.

Am I missing anyone?

OH...I know...Alan and Lisa....well they both made it to the next round...but Alan I wasnt sure about because he was more interested in the woman than in the show itself.....but maybe he will prove me wrong...he's lucky to have moved on.

And Lisa....well...she bombed her audition to night and they let her through anyways...but I see a major problem when her group cant find her to practice....very rude of her to do that!

Oh yeah...and whats with the gal bringing her mother? Leave mom at home or at another hotel....for goodness sake...is that fair to the other people...especially when she is trying to sing with them? Wierd!

I'm NOT impressed with Alan or Lisa. The fact that they showed very little to practice, and then, for Lisa to be in the pool, AGAIN, the second night, while her 2 members were waiting on her to practice. I would have kicked her to the curb, and pacticed without her. Let her fall on her face when they get on stage because she doesn't know the song, or their 'dance.'

Alan preforming and rubbing his hands all over himself... what is this, a strip tease? I can't see him winning. Yes, he's great looking and has a good voice. But I can't stand his ego. There are many others who are there to work, to improve, to listen to the critiques and learn from them.

That one girl that had the attitude, that insulted Simon about "the rumors must be true, you're gay" and Paula told her that the disrespect should not have been able to go through. I hope that she's gone soon enough. Don't like her... can't stand her attitude.

That one girl... she was like 17 years old, who was talking on her cell phone, saying how good she was, and knew that she was going through. Well, she was in the group that got released, and I was glad. I didn't think that she was all that good.

I'm looking forward to tonights preformance, and seeing what happens.

I think Alan & Lisa were disrespectful to the process. Someone did that last year .. went out and partied ... can't remember who ... maybe Cory ?

How the heck can they listen and look at the competition and think they've got it all going for them and don't have to work at it. Sorry, but nobody is THAT good looking !

As for the girl with the gay Simon remark, she pulled that out of the hat. Simon was ready to be nice to her last night and she disrespectfully stirred the pot. She also challenged Randy's critique and told them it didn't matter they could always BUY the CD. I think she went for broke to stand out, and it worked ... so far.

p.s. I still love my little carrot top

p.p.s. Did anyone catch Simon's comment about how THEY were responsible for picking the next American Idol ?

I missed that! When did he say that?...at the end? That one slipped right past me!

What do you suppose he meant by that...do you think he could have meant that the public votes only count for so much but they get the overall choice? (or something like that?)

Hmm....interesting.

I think that he means that right now, it's up to THEM, who makes the final 12... and that, in a huge sense, their opinions mean something to what the American voters use to pick. They have huge opinions, and the people do tend to listen to them a lot. I don't think that was an ego comment at all.

Yes, OBAF, you're right... it was Corey and a couple other guys, last time. They went out to that bar, and went on that electronic bull. That was disrespectful, and so were these guys this year. I mean, come on... they are giving you a HUGE shot here, and you have to screw around, because the possibility of 'hooking up' is more important!

If it was me running the show, and I saw that... the following day when those particular people were on stage, and I would have them all on the stage at the same time... here's what they would hear from me.

"We had camera's following you around, and you showed a serious lack of disrespect in your actions. You showed that you didn't truly care about making it in this competition, and gave next to nothing toward your performance today. Therefore, those of you will not have a chance. You will go no further. This competition is about doing everything you can to win, and show us what you've got. Good bye!"

KJ Cowell ... you fooled us because you changed your accent and also cleverly didn't use the word "horrific" in your pronouncement !

Last nights show.
*Alan, stop touching yourself or get a room! Feeling yourself out on TV is not the way to win fans.
*Lisa Ms. I only got in because Simon liked my um assets-she needs to be dropped. I would not let her ruin my practice time. I would do what Kris said and rehearse without her. Let her make a fool out of herself and I would announce to the judges that she never showed up for rehearsal.
*Kira Scott-Paula was so right about her. She is disrespectful. She should have been eliminated on the spot.
*the other Kira that got the boot. She yodeled too much. Duh, that is why you got eliminated, and no this will not be trailer trash idol.

All the party people, would get the boot. If you are disrespectful or party out on your bum you go!

They pick the idol. They narrow it down. Does anyone actually believe that Ruben won fair and square last season. 2 phone numbers, fans split, only x number of calls can get through, a voting discrepancy during the last show, hmm, wonder who picked the Idol.

Show time in a couple of minutes. Let's just hope that some of the talented kids who are serious about this make it through.

Seriously, I would rather see someone who is a developable 7-8 on the voice scale but who has a sincere attitude and who will WORK at it get through ... than someone who's a 9 on the voice scale who thinks they are entitled and can just goof off because they have a nice face and a hot bod.

Phooey on the latter.
