ok i want to know what you guys think are the saddest quotes from all three movies. i think the saddest is in the 3rd movie. ok here it is: "if i should return......think better of me father."-Faramir

Okay this one is not sad as such, but it did make me cry, so perhaps it can be included.

Saddest bit of all the movies in my opinion...

When Frodo leaves Sam behind because of Gollum. It's more the look on Sam's face than anything else. And when Pip's singing the song, after Faramir's left.
