| Eminem's Mom Carjacked On Eight Mile

Debbie Mathers, known for her controversial relationship with son Marshall Mathers, was sitting in her car while pumping gas at the BP gas station located at Eight Mile and Coolidge roads late Thursday night.
She was approached by a man with a silver handgun who demanded her car and threatened to kill her if she did not get out of the car. The carjacker then grabbed Mathers and pulled her out of the vehicle. He reportedly fled in Mathers' car and headed west on Eight Mile Road.
Mathers reportedly ran into the gas station and called police from a pay phone. Mathers gave them the description and license plate number of her car and officers located the car in the area of Seven Mile and Greenfield roads.
The carjacker was stopped at a traffic light and blocked in by other cars, so he fled on foot, but police nabbed the male 16-year-old Detroiter. | |
