3D Movies

I have never seen a 3D movie and want to so I was thinking of going to see Spy Kids 3D just for the 3D stuff. But I don't know if the effects, etc will be enough for me to be able to put up with a kiddie flick.

Has anyone seen Spy Kids 3D and can they recommend it/ warn me away from it? Or any other good 3D movies? Is 3D worth the hype? SHould I go and see a different movie?

Yeah 3D movies are awesome. I haven't seen Spy Kids 3D, but when I was a young 'un (like very young) they used to give us the 3D glasses in the newspaper and they'd have the movies on TV, they were too cool. Plus they have 3D shows at WB Movie World, which are cool, and then there was Freddy's Dead, which had a bit of 3D in it too... though in the past 20 years, I can't think of many 3D movies that have been released.
