Harry Potter cast apparates for Super Bowl preshow and "Real Access"

Separately, Nickelodeon announced today that the cast would be appearing on CBS for the network's Super Bowl special on Feb. 1, entitled Nickelodeon Takes Over the Super Bowl. The show airs at 11 a.m. ET and includes a "how-to-tailgate" segment and some kid-friendly "factoids" about the history of the Super Bowl. Members from the cast of Scooby Doo 2 will show up as well.


You'll also want to tune in to watch the actual Super Bowl. It has been rumored that Warner Bros. may show a new commercial for Prisoner of Azkaban.

CNN posted an article today about advertising during this year's Super Bowl, alerting Harry Potter fans to tune in February 1 when Super Bowl XXXVIII gets underway.

One industry that can never generate enough attention before a new product launch is the film business, and movie trailers will have a sizable presence during the Super Bowl. Sony Pictures, Touchstone Pictures, Universal Studios and Warner Bros. will all run ads during the game, according to Advertising Age.

Those tuning in may get glimpses of Sony's "Spider Man II," Touchstone's "The Alamo," Universal's "The Bourne Supremacy," staring Matt Damon, Warner Bros. "Catwoman" with Halle Berry, or "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," according to Ad Age.

Who knows how they will appear. Maybe it will be "magical" and they will use special effects to awe the viewers. I can't wait though.

Grant, they probably will have to apparate. If they use the words Super Bowl without paying the NFL a ton of money, they will get sued.

Haven't found one of them, and I've been looking. I don't know WHY Warner Bros. would release a new trailer, but wouldn't have it on their site. Does that even make sense?

PS. (For people who have seen it) Did you notice that in one shot there's a broom sweeping by itself behind the cleaner just before the title appears, and in the next shot it's disappeared? Not that I'm complaining, the trailer was good, and the bus looks fun. Wow, I feel like a giddy 16-year-old, oh wait, I am.

Where did that broom go? Now that my son has had us watch it 6 times, with and without Harry Potter glasses. I wonder what Hagrid is doing with his hands up in the air?

I'm actually beginning to think that the clip of Hermione behind the pumkins is an unfinished effects shot, as they're all looking and reacting to something that isn't there.

That last shot of Harry and Hermione, it looks like they are ready to break into song.
