| I was watching the Turkish tv yesterday. According to the news the real reason for Bush and the US government to attack Iraq might be the expected defeat of dollar against Euro in 10 years. They also said that England's (still not using euro even though they are in EU) support for the US strengthens this idea. After EU started using their own money Euro, most of the other countries including China, Russia and Iraq have declared that they are thinking about using euro in international transactions( before euro, most of the international transactions were made with US dollar). This would surely hurt the US dollar and economy. By attacking Iraq, USA might strengthen its economy( oil, economical transactions with surrounding countries in dollar) and defeat euro before it gets too strong.
I'm not saying that this is true for sure but, seems logical(Blair's support) since i dont believe that the reason is the terrorism thing. | |
