| I found that eating prcessed food, no matter how many carbs the label claimed to have would stop me from losing weight on atkins. I had much more luck with 'protein power' which takes calories into account also (but still allows a lot more calories than a low fat/cal diet). Most of the low carb products are really for people who have reached their weight goal as an occasional treat, for example you couldnt use your carb alotment for the day on 3 low carb candies.
Protein power is more liberal in a lot of ways, it depends what you like but for some reason atkins doesn't work for me either. I went into ketosis straight away on Protein Power, (The books are called Protein power.
Dont worry, I dont work for these people or something, Im actually not on the diet anymore as its too hard for me as im vegetarian.
Stuff like dressings can really hold you back during induction
Good luck, i hope it helps, ignore that other reply, do what you want its your body | |
