Will the DA continue in the 6th and 7th year??

I don't think so,cause the DA is only started because of Umbridge.

I think that it will continue. There is no denying that Voldemort is back. The students want to practice their defense. I can see Dumbledore allowing it to continue, but with a teacher overseeing the club. Heck, what are the chances of them getting a good DADA teacher. In 5 years, they have had only 2 competent ones.

I don't think the DA will continue. I think the kids will finally get a decent teacher, it would be about time... Wouldn't it be like a cliché if there's another no-use or foul professor? And except that, now that Voldemort's back and people are aware of it, there should be someone competent that feels responsible to take the job. The DA was really cool, but I don't think it will last. If it does, it wouldn't have the same name anymore, it wouldn't be needed, and the kids probably wouldn't even had to hide because study groups aren't banned anymore. It just wouldn't be it.

A decent teacher would be nice. They could have one, but the teacher will only last one year. I wonder if Snape is the one who put the curse on the job.

Yeah, I wondered about that too, and I think it's not unlikely! Snape may be Dumbledore's spy, but he's still mean. Wanting to give Sirius to dementors with *no* reason and all...

Oh, come on!Snape's not that mean.HE'S MEANER THAN ANY OTHER TEACHER IN HOGWARTS THAT WE KNOW!!(but the "hem,hem" lady is worse)

Sure, there may be worse than Snape in the world of HP... but, for being on the side of good, he's got a LONG way to go before he will be considered nice. He's mean... he can't get over what happened to him when he was a student, and since Harry is the son of James Potter, Snape takes it out on him. Bottom line... he can't let go of what happened to him... and he really needs to. Harry NEVER did anything to him.

Yeah... it's quite possible that the job in itself is cursed. Who knows.
Or, people just don't want to stay in that job...

But, I think that it would be funny if we found out that Snape was putting a curse on the position throughout the year, for each professor!!!!

Perhaps Voldemort was the DADA teacher previously, and cursed the job when he was found out to be the dark lord............. that's why Dumbledore can't let Snape have it, because he needs Snape in one piece....

As for Dumbledore's Army, I guess they'll give up on that idea, but they will be working a lot harder on their defenses in the coming 2 years
