We don't allow avatars because it would become a bandwidth problem.
The majority of people using INReview are not paying members, and it cost the administration money out of their own pockets, each month to run this place. Just to go up to the next 'level' it will cost about an additional $700/month.

Then, on top of that, we have a lot of advertisers on INReview. This is a more professional looking message board, so that the companies will WANT to advertise through us.

So, there will not be avatars in the future. We don't want them...

Let me also that, that should we, at some point, allow avatars on INReview, it will be to the Gold Members only. But, that isn't going to happen ANY time soon. It is a possibility, but most likely not a probability.

hey! Not my fault! sorry for bringing that up! i dont know it was an issue before. my husband has a sportfishing and modeling website, and i am not sure if he is being charged extra for avatar. His websites are for free too, not charging anything from members.

Yeah Becker, you've had plenty of time to acquire a scanner or something.
besides you dont even need a scanner, you can have pics developed right to disk, and its really pretty cheap, i do it all the time when i dont feel like scanning pics.

NO MORE EXCUSES.......... it has become a Gold Member Requirement, didnt you know that?? All Golds have to have a picture posted....... its the rules buddy.

take the pic to a walgreens or any photo place, geez take a whole stack of photos, ask them to put the photos on a floppy disk for you.

then you get home and you put the floppy disk in your computer. then you access those files by ........... okay well you know this part.

Yea, the claws are terrible, I've had to wear gloves or else he really does cut your hands to pieces. Does he ever try to get away from you? They really are cute though, and like Pulse said as long as you don't tick them off, your good By the way are we getting off topic?

He wiggles...a lot. He doesn't know how to be still, so I'm not sure if he tries getting away from me or not. He's just naturally squirmy. He's not quite big enough to be allowed to run around on the floor though. There's still some things that he could get into. But that doesn't stop him from trying.

SCREW THAT...I lived around alligators too long obviously...because he looks fit to kill!!!!

Just ran across this thread. It is amazing how we put a face in our minds eye. Of coarse I was wrong about all of you. Here is a shot of my daughter and I last December in Western North Carolina ( Her first time seeing snow).

Stayed with friends in Wilkesboro but spent most of our time in Boone. Loved it.

Yeah it's really pretty, I have some friends that live in wilkesboro. We go to boone on vacation sometimes. Love living in NC. Got your pick, mountains or beach. It's great.
