The 4th show will be in Los Angelos. Let's hope that there are some better singers than Houston had.

Though, the preview... KELLY CLARKSON WANNA-BE!!!
Only difference... this one CANT sing!!!

Okay... where to even begin on tonights show. WOW... there really aren't that many people with talent that were trying out, in my opinion.

I did notice as the contestants filled up the Rose Bowl stadium, they went to register, and they had a "pre try out" to get through to the judges. If that's the case, then it's a real joke... because the people that got through were awful.

That chick with her dog... she was hitting such high notes, the dog was whimpering and walking away!

That ex-football player that got through... Matthew. He sang, "Just Once" by James Ingrahm, and he sounded great.

Jasmine... the midget. She had a really nice voice... and she was so sweet. Her voice seemed to have a little shake to it, but she held it together pretty well.

Tomomi - that chick with a fairly deep voice, and Randy said... "Reach you by hairy plains"

Draeh - well, she's from my home town, and I heard her on the radio last week. Don't know how far she goes... she's not allowed to say if she makes it to the top 10. She's the one that said that she would buy a pink cadalliac, and she sang, "Almost Like Being in Love."

The people arguing with the judges... and making these comments on camera when they are out of the audition room.... "You made a mistake. I'm going to make it big... blah blah blah!"

Oh, how about the kid who was asked what he would do with the million dollars and kept saying that he would give a ton to charity? Simon didn't like that at all, and that sealed his decision to pass on him!!!

Jeffrey Dingle - he sang "Desparado" and was really good. I look forward to hearing more of him. His attitude was really in the right place.

Okay, then they went to San Francisco for the last 15 minutes of the show.
Wasn't much there to talk about. But, near the end, they show this cowboy, and before his name or where he is from pops up on the screen, Heidi about freaks out. She said... "I know him." So, his name pops up and where he's from... Concord, CA. That's where Heidi is from. Well, turns out that the cowboy, Joshua, is the nephew of her ex-stepmother. They grew up together, but she hasn't seen him since he was a little guy, more than 10 years ago!!! He didn't get through... but that was strange.

That little asian guy that sang She Bang!! I was about on the floor. He was cute, but oh man... I can't believe he even tried out.

And that one girl who Paula said was cabarea (sp?) and then her friend won't leave, and the cops come to escort them out, and she's singing the entire time. What a joke. She sounded EXACTLY like Paula called it.

I can't believe that they only got 10 people from SF and I think 25 from LA. Man, not many people.

Didn't you love his little 'dance' with the hips swaying and bouncing, and his hands all over the place?

that was so funny KJ. he had a unique 'stiffness' to his dance that i found quite amusing. i bet he made that up in his head while he was waiting. hopefully it wasn't something he had practiced to what he thought was perfection.

You know... it really wouldn't surprise me if he HAD been practicing that for months!

and what is up with all the attitude tonight? the reactions of all those who lost is a prime example of why they shouldn't be allowed to advanced in the competition, regardless of their singing ability. [rant]we have enough spoiled brats in the music industry, but at least they can sing (arguably). i don't want some out of tune jackass telling me how well they can sing when they couldn't carry a tune in a bucket the size of their ego.[/rant]

I liked Jeffery Dingle...

I REALLY liked the football guy!

I felt kind of bad about that guy that answered the question the way he did...but I had the impression from Paula last week that they dont want people that arent really honest...

I dont know if that should sway their decision...but lets face it..there is NO way this guy was gonna give away his money to charity...invest it and then give MORE to charity....

After he was taxed on a million dollars there is only like 700,000 left, and I doubt he would give half away to charity...IMO

That one guy and his dad were SO mad, and I saw the look they gave Jeff Dingle when he walked out with the yellow envelope...

I now I said this before...but that gal and her trainer...was it just me or did she sound like she closed her nose when singing?

Gtoe... that was his name. And his dad said...
"Simon, you've robbed my son. Randy, you've robbed my son."
PLEASE!! All they did was tell him the truth....
YOU CAN SING WELL ENOUGH TO BE THE AMERICAN IDOL.
Damn... if you can't take the rejection, you will NEVER make it in that business.
It is filled with disappointment and rejection. So, if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

She bang guy too funny. The dance was a riot!

Best of the night the Dingle guy. How could you forget that name? His rendition of Desperado was wonderful.

Other good people
The guy that sang "Just Once", one of my all time favorite songs. Not bad.

Their was another man who's parents came from Indo-China. He was also quite good.

The dwarf was o.k. She certainly sang well, I would just like to see her grow some eyebrows.

Not advanced ...

I thought the girl who sang "Fever" was not that bad ... Nicole I think ... the one with the baby ? Felt sorry for her.

And there was a guy named Rodrigo who sang "Isn't she Lovely" who was ok too. Is he the one who answered the Million Dollar question dishonestly ?

Advanced

*Dingle Desperado
*BaoViet (Boat People Parents)
*Little Person Jasmine

* Most Memorable in my heart ... all A-OK to my ears

** 50's Girl
Something old, something new You all know this pendulum stuff moves me ... don't hit me with my dang pendulum OK i She rates with carrot top guy from 1st show.

*** Football Guy

-- Hung Huang ... fabulously funny ... and under there he really wasn't off key ! He had some melody and his voice had some little resonance I could hear. And that dance ... You know, I really don't mind a few of these as he was SO entertaining and was totally sincere. He made me smile and I think he'll practice and be back ... bless his heart !

This guy cracked us up too. And though I deny any accusation of being racist, this guy was the epitomy of old-style charicatures of Chinese men with the tiny body, round head and buck teeth that actually protrude forward from his face! I couldn't believe it - I always thought those nasty drawings were baseless!
