According to this article, she is not being charged for insider trading, but rather, obstructing the investigation.

Why does the accused have to cooperate with an investigation against themselves? It's self incrimination and not Constitutional.

At some point in time, the High Court will have to review and decide the legal issue of malicious prosecution where it normally had no basis to pursue an immaterial violation that would not have existed, BUT FOR the prosecutor's indiscretion in creating lawbreakers. The law will have to come down on prosecutor's abuse of discretion saying that the frivolous charges are more costly to the general public than the benefit. How can taxpayers respect the law when we have outlaw prosecutors misusing it's resources and power.
