Eye patch for my little girl-need ideas for keeping it on

My 2 1/2 year old Nikki just got some eye patches. Her glasses will be here next week. Her eye rolls in because she has a vision problem. My question is, how do I keep her wearing the patch and making it fun. I would appreciate any advice.

I am sure you have already thought of the pirate idea...Show her the movie "Sinbad" and show her it is neat to wear a patch.

Perhaps you could buy her a baby doll and put a patch over one of it's eyes so she would have a "twin".

Thanks. I was so shocked. She loves to wear the patch. I have no idea why. They do come with cool designs on them. She seems to think it is a captain Feathersword type of thing. I can only hope the glasses go over as well when they arrive next week.

I've always wondered how kids so young are determined to have troubled vision - so for Nikki it was a visibly apparent eye movement that revealed she was having difficulty seeing straight?
