What food do you use to enhance your romantic getaway ,dinner ,or encounter ?

Personally I love something colorful and not too labor intensive so i can concentrate on my date . like for example macaroni pasta with Parmesan cheese and tomatoes ,cheesy French bread ,chocolate covered strawberries ,and to drink, cask & cream superior (chocolate temptations)

I know it doesn't sound romantic, but my boyfriend LOVES pot roast! Its simple, its easy, it's hearty and he brings me flowers after I make it for him!

Pot roast is a great romance food (for men ) it makes us feel like men (especially if it's cooked to perfection)

Sushi and sashimi. It's very delicate and it's finger food and that's kind of romantic.

Finger food? Don't let the Japanese see you eat sushi with fingers. Japanese and Chinese culture does not look favorably upon eating with hands.

I think that any food can be romantic.... if you feed it to your lover. Feed them their entire meal... that's VERY romantic.

I find a nice meal in a nice restaurant with dim ligting and good wine to be very romantic. And he can feed himself I am not his Mother.

It's not about being someone's mother, Delta... it's just so romantic. I've done it with my partner, and it is amazingly romantic.

Ice cream... there is something romantic, with the right setting.

Would an Ice cream sandwich count? I have shared wine but never food. but then I still have things to learn.

I am a control freak, people, anyone tried to feed me and they'd be on the floor....oh, I guess that's not too bad.

Feeding someone reminds me of birds and how they chew and regurgitate food into the babies mouths. I think of that and romance is not a top priority.

I scare the piss out of men. They react to this fear in alot of ways.
And never do they act like the real man that I would envision a man to be.

Quite graphic but we are off topic. Romantic foods? Hmmm

Oysters of course on the half shell raw. I could get with sharing those but the rock salt may get in the way.

The honey, yes it was poured, rubbed and uch hmmm ingested .

The hot candle wax was just for a different kind of sensation dripped dripped.....

No, Delta, but this person was heavily into witchcraft and kept giving me these "special drink" concoctions....and pretty soon I was doing things I would have never done otherwise.

I was in France a while back, Orleans to be specific.
It was Easter and the restaurant in the hotel was only serving lamb and green vegetables of some kind.

I hated it. The person I was with told me that in France you have to eat everything on the plate, or it would offend the chef.

So when this person wasn't looking....I proceeded to chop up the food and hide it in potted plants on the table.
So, my plate was clean.

In Italy, you must burp to show your appreciation.
I can handle that.

Do they eat romantic foods on "Lost?" I just don't know.

From how you have described Lost, D, I don't think it would peak my interest.

I videotape Alias and there is a little at the beginning of the tape of the end of Lost..

It looks like a bunch of cowboys around a campfire....very boring to me...you are on your own.

But I think they do eat romantic foods on Alias....like liquid that turns your body into a popsicle... that is very romantic to me...because you know what I think about popsicles.
