Look at this all of you then tell me why you still are supporting iraq instead of your own country and uk and her shoulders dieing so you dont have to worry of this happening to your kids, family and friends. look at that momma and her baby close real close and think of it, it could have been you and your kids. No one derserves this not even you anti-war whiners. Wake up and face the truth people, we the usa/uk and the other countries involved in this war our doing over there what they think is right and trying to stop this so it doesnt spread and maybe someday hit you or your family. Happened to them could very easy happen to you all and if you dont think so you are real nyeeve and blind. sorry about spelling all ,not to good with that but you all know where im comeing from though. You did very very good robert and i hope people see these and open up there eyes and hearts and start standing behind who they really should be. Not in themselfs and there own selfish, indulgent ways and letting other people die for there freedom and choice of speech while there hideing behind there sighns and letting other people do there work. If you live in the usa or any other free country think of this and all of the other very bad things he has done and get behind the people you should be. Our soilders and our allies are trying to make sure this never never happens again to anyone and pray for them and there safety and safe return. We love you all men and women of the armed forces from all of the supporting countries and will be praying for you and god bless you. Return home safe and be proud you have done a good and just thing not even for iraq but for the world..... | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Rambo | | As disturbing as those pictures are, your timing could not have been better.
You see, Saddam Husseins propoganda outlets like Al-Jazeera and little hodhod try to exploit these atrocious images for their own twisted agenda. Absolutely sickening. Even more sickening than the anti-coalitioners. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: nowar | | 1. what you seems to forget is that:
Kurds bloodbath has been performed with what U.S. gov sold to Saddam during Iran/Iraq: biological and chemical base for WMD and helicopters
Shiite repression has been perpetrated because Bush father encouraged Shiite to fight against Saddam but what Bush forgot to say is: once he will be out of Kuweit you will have to deal directly with him without our intervention ...

And what about Bush propaganda on Fox News and CNN ?
They never show Iraqi prisonner, only surrending one ????????
Damn, I will post this evening vids from CNN showing Iraqi prisonner but you said nothing about Geneva convention neither about propaganda of CNN and Fox News.
Unfortunately I haven't recorded the one showing dead Iraqi soldiers but I will find them ...
What about the missinformation of Fox News: this town is under control, this one too, 8000 Iraqi soldiers surrending
All have been disavowed by U.S. general/colonel and .... by death of coallition soldiers but as far as I know it hasn't been said on Fow News - except the picture of death U.S. soldiers.
Who is making propaganda ? both side as it has always been done: WWII, VIETNAM, KOREA, IRAN/IRAQ, AFGHANISTAN, ALGERIA, .... by both side but what it's different now is: journalist which are included in the coallition troops can't say what they want neither show what they want. Some are independent and they really risk their life to make their job without the help of 10 marines as bodyguard.
Pictures of death, what about the pictures of innocent people/children killed by the "precise weapon" and more, the U.S. "general" said: no it's not our missiles, it must be the Iraqi Air defenses ....
damn, you should see the damage and you will see that it's not from the air defence.

Did you saw the injured/killed Iraqi people and the mother and father and children ?
Did you saw the result of 12 years ambargo on the people ?
Did you saw the Iraqi army level ?
Did we say "we are for Saddam" ???
Always using: could, maybe, will : kill your neighbour because one he could become crazy and maybe he will drop grenade or WMD on your house !!!
Soldiers are "chaire a canon", that's all, ask your gov.
One Iraqi citizen said:
"
How would you treat someone:
- which is part of the "team" which had imposed the ambargo - this killed thousand people because there were no food, no medics - which didn't impact the Saddam life,
- which fought against the Oil for food program, which come to "free" us by means of missiles, weapons, killing innocent people
- which plan to setup a government which will not be elected by Iraqi people but one government including old Saddam goverment general or soldiers, others which doesn't care about the Iraqi people but the Oil and all managed/controlled by U.S. gov
do we have to suffer more for the overthrow of Saddam ?
How would you treat him ?
U.S. can take Saddam, but we will never permit U.S. to take one piece of Iraq sand.
"
And I can tell you that he was not the only one.....
And this is only in Iraq, now go to see how it's going in other Muslim countries ....
Guys, we will pay a high price, the real war - with no rules anymore - will comme later | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: mtliveingtree | | the embargos only parcially hurt those people, saddam takeing the millions and millions from his oil sales to the world to build armys, weapons/weapons of mass distruction, palaces, bunkers exstensive, paying extra money for several doubles so dont blame the usa for all of the starveing look at and where the money there country actually had but was squandered by sadam and his regein. All the millions he spent on his toys and luxerys could also have helped his country so get all the info right. | | Reply To this Message

We should have left Asia to the Japanese. Rape of Nanking.

Doesn't it feel good to have FREEDOM of speech? Oh yeah, if we want sand we will go to the beach...BECAUSE WE CAN.
Also must be nice to know you won't be killed for your anti-American comments, too. Sounds to me like you support Saddam. Is that because you like him or because you have to like him... OR ELSE!!! Who knows, maybe it will be your arse we save from those Saddam terrorists.
Bush supporter all the way! | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: badola5 | | nowar,
Regarding the Iraqi POWs, if you followed the news as closely as you say, our soldiers were actually carrying some of the wounded Iraqi soldiers off the battlefield to give them medical aid. I don't recall seeing any of them dead because of execution. I actually think they looked relieved because they knew we would take care of them because we have regard for human life. Innocent people will get killed inadvertantly in any war, and for that we are sorry. Saddam kills and tortures innocent people DAILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: aivee | | Saddam Hussein hasn't used his chemical weapons to us yet... If he was able to use it to his own people, what made other people think that he will never use it to us... It's also true that we gave Saddam Hussein the chemicals to make the weapons, which only shows that he is a traitor, and shouldn't be trusted, ever... | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Grimminick | | mtlivingtree,
that embargoes that only partially hurt people??? Those embargos were responsible for the death of 5000 children per day through no food and no medicine and during a time when the country was recovering from a war.
"I have been instructed to implement a policy that satisfies the definition of genocide: a deliberate policy that has effectively killed well over a million individuals, children and adults."
Denis Halliday, Assistant secretary-General of the United Nations
"When sanctions were imposed, following Iraq's invasion of Kuwait in August 1990, all imports, including food, were effectively banned for eight months, even though Security Council Resolution 661 of August 6, 1990 explicitly exempted food and medicines."
John Pilger, journalist
America and Britain -two UN members- broke their own resolutions | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: MaRyJaNe | | Does it really freaking matter if we gave him the chemicals? Did we give to him and say "here go use these on innocent people"? WHy in the hell would any of you sit here and make excuses for Saddam? Are you sick? I mean seriously? You care "so much" about the Iraqi people but yet it's okay for the rest of the world to sit back and watch Saddam treat people like that? Don't be so freaking idiotic. I am sorry that civillians are being killed, I really terribly am but what the hell do you do when someone has access to weapons like that when they aren't stable enough mentally to possess things of such destruction? He was given far too many chances in my opinion to give up the weapons and for whatever sick and twisted reason he has he didn't want to. Now, Go beat your wives and sell your daughters you Saddam loving, women beating, psycho *******. | | Reply To this Message
