ah interesting...well its conclusion is the same as my own...balrogs don't have real wings...just shadowy illusion wings. to make them look fiercer.

I guess this is off-topic. I remember when I read the Hobbit years ago it had an unsettling effect on me....I became very restless and wanted to go off in search of my own "quest"! I packed up my belongings and moved 700 miles away. A year later, I returned.

Talking about books having an effect on you....after i read LOTR...i suddenly liked walking in the country...strange...

i got the impule to start writing books after reading LOTR...i actually started too...but then i got lazy and haven't worked on for about 2 years...

i write anyway, but i do write more now!
