Man, that's so hard, because they are each good for different reasons.
I'm going to pick the 5th book, because so much is happening, the students
are growing in their magic, more is being learned about different characters, etc...

Nearly Headless Nick for a ghost, and Sirius Black's mother for a painting.

Pulse, Harrys parents are not ghosts. They went on to the other side. Only wizards who fear death can stay as ghosts. Sorry.

I must say that I loved your answer to question to the most conceited person. Very good. It is nice to have some new people in here. It helps us to see the series in a new light.

I know this. But it would be kind of neat if they were.

You know, Sirius and the gang being conceited in the 70-ies makes me think of the good ol' times when Gyffindors had a healthy self-confidence advantage over Slytherins... Now Malfoy's the most conceited one in the school?? Hey - that's wrong.
