Can't go wrong with real estate in my opinion. Buy vacant land, build subdivisions. That's what I plan to invest in.

Do you think natural gas prices will be dropping anytime in the near future. Our heating bills are going skyward. That's where I'm looking. Also China seems to be growing at an accelerated pace-so I'm looking there too. How about Nanotechnology?

If you want to invest in the stock market--Checkout the companys whose products you buy. Bring up their home page on your screen. Click to Investor relations and request an Investor Kit to be sent. That's a good way to begin. I will give more advanced suggestions later.

I'd agree that Real Estate is an excellent vehicle. I'll be getting into it in the relatively near future.

But it IS worth it. My family has lands now worth millions which wasn't worth pass 100k before.

Yes, and now with eminent domain enacted by the supreme court, be prepared to lose your investment in real estate in case Walmart or another private investor wants to put up one of their nasty shacks right on your prime land!

That's a bit of a piss off. Now there's a bit more risk, but it's hard to see how that'll affect me here in Canada....

Lots of prime land in Canada for the picking.

Investments in Equities? Anyone know what that is? I've been thinking about what that is but haven't really a clue.

THe Stockmarket is just killer unless you know what you're doing. Stock broker's are under commision and usually the stocks they recommend to you are for /their/ best interests, not ours. sooo....

Investments in small business are said to be a "gold mine"... I don't know. they do good, I suppose.

I don't know much about hte stockmarket but I plan to get into it.
