What do you think of Liv Tyler as an actress? Do you think she portrayed Arwen well?

I really have nothing against Liv Tyler, I just thought that she had way to big of a role in the movie. She just wasn't that important in the book.

I had no problem with PJ trying to make this a love story (even though it wasnt) but I think he could of casted the role better. OR maybe it's just the fact that I have hated Liv Tyler for as long as I can remember Anyhow you are right in the books Arwen was but a small character..........

Sheesh hahaha funny question. Let's see my b/f knows Leonardo DiCaprio since they went to school together, and he is another jerk, conceited to the hilt. I have met the cast from Queer as Folk, Shannon Doherty, the cast from Will and Grace. George Lopez, Selma Hayak, Christina Applegate, some of the cast from Happy Potter, Steve Young from the 49ers and a few others. Most of them are cool as hell but then again you find some that you just want to remind that without us theyd be NOTHING!!! Just my opinion anyhow...

Yeah well I did not go to the screening here in LA, too busy studying for my finals so I missed out on that...........being that I might be working at the Oscars might change all that though

My b/f's dad is a photographer (international news) so I will be helping him out that night.............. probably just making sure that he's got the names to go with the pictures and new memory cards ready, basically gopher stuff, bet hey I get to hang out and eat for free

I think Liv is beautiful enough to be Arwen, and she does look like an elf, but I don't care for her as an actress. Her voice sounded different in LOTR than it normally does. She usually sounds kind on whiny to me.

yeah i noticed that in an interivew...her voice sounded much different...i think she's alright..but i think her part got blown up to much.

I'm just not a huge fan of hers. While she portrayed the role good... her part was given way too much air time!! Just my opinion though!

if they had cut done on all this arwen junk, they could've put in stuff that was actually in the movie...hmmm...i think pointing out all the inconsistencies between book and movie needs a thread...whadya think?
