Arwen and Aragon

Okay I am afraid to see the movie (ROTK) until I have read the script (yes I know it is stupid) because I hear different opinions as to the changes made and such. One thing no one mentions is what happens with Arwen and Aragon, don't worry I want spoilers! Can anyone tell me if they keep the movie along the terms of the books there? Or is there more Disney magic in that movie with the "happily ever after" ending?

Well, in the book, Arwen's life was never tied to what happened to the Ring. That's Peter Jackson's beautiful work*coughs* But they end up being with each other, like in the book. Although they don't have a wedding in the movie. That's about it.

In the movie Arwen has a vision of her son and decides to stay in middle earth. They end up together, but like lil said, no wedding.

I thought that was something cool to add. It was sad too. For a moment, I thought it was a little hobbit child Arwen was seeing!!! Cause I thought the Ship was somewhere on the Sea near Hobbiton and then I saw Aragorn and I started crying -_-'

Ummmmmmmmmmm so aside from the wedding, the rest is left alone. Ok thanks........... I am going to go see the movie tonight so I am SURE that I will be posting TONS tomorrow

Well saw the movie and can't say that they runined these two up too badly..... aside from making Arwen too important when she isnt in the books!

Yes, and also linking her life with what happened to the Ring was a bit farfetched also. I didn't like it.

and I agree Lil Washu when I heard Elrond say that, then catch a glimpse of her dying on the sofa I was life "ohhhhhh mannnnnnn" thats going a little too far for my taste!!!!
