That sounds like a lot of fun, mystic. Actually, I saw the post in another thread, that had more detail to your party. Man, if I lived in your area, you can bet that Heidi and I would be coming there!!!

We're not big drinkers... and especially on New Years Eve. I don't like being on the road, because of all the drunk drivers.

We have talked about FINALLY going to see the new LotR movie on NYEve. Don't know though. We haven't made an "solid" plans. Just waiting to see what we will do.

i have to work!!! arg! i work at the movie theater in my town and they are always open! i got lucky and didnt get picked to work christmas day i hope its not busy. who would go see a movie on new years eve?

We are going to our local Italian restaurant for some pizza. Our neighbors may go with us. My husband will go to sleep early and I will probably watch a DVD. BORING!!!

Were gonna watch T.V. and play board games.

That and get ready for the Y2k collaspe.

We actually stored water and food back in 1999/2000, believe or not, so it's an ongoing joke that "this is gonna be the year!"

Whidden, a lot of people have done that.... who knows one of these days, it could happen.


We just got back from seeing LotR: Return of the King. In my opinion, that was the perfect movie to see tonight. Now, I'm just waiting for 9pm to roll around, in 15 min or so, and watch the Dick Clark, NYC Times Square ball dropping for them at midnight.

I just got an e mail from a friend that moved to NYC. She lives 10 blocks from Time Square. She said that there are cops everywhere... helicopters flying all over the place, and sharp shooters on top of all the buildings. She isn't going out at all tonight.

And no money buried in the back yard either!

Okay... I'm bummed. They are waiting until 10pm our time to show the NYC special.
Damn... I've always watched that ball drop, live, at midnight in NYC. Now it's an hour later.

I am going with my mates to the Edinburgh street party I think it is the biggest street party in the world. It should be good this year the guys that did the fireworks fore the Athens olympics are in charge of the fireworks display from the castle and Scissor sisters are performing in the gardens so I am looking forward to it then I think we are going first footing which is brilliant as well. Up here Hogmany is good we make abigger deal out of it than we do about Christmas so there is always something going on

Spending Christmas and New years on the beach in Florida. Golfing and relaxing with family.

i'll probably be working

but if not.....

Spending the night with my girlfriend... doing whatever we want. Maybe watching fireworks. Don't know.

Spending it with Ron and the kids. Maybe we will go out for pizza again this year, then watch movies.

Ohhhhhhhh... Karena wants to go sit by the water, and watch the sunset, and drink a bottle of wine. So, I think that's what we're going to do. We won't be out late though... and we will probably curl up and watch a movie, or something.
